Fast and Friendly Service
My family and I had a great time at this location. WE love going to Rain Forest Cafe. We used to frequent the Anaheim location so it was so fun to try the Las Vegas location out. The food and service were great. We loved the Volcano dessert! We were seated right away and taken care of very well during our meal. Great staff!

As a Las Vegas local with relatives visiting (which included 2 two year olds) this was my first visit to the Rainforest Cafe. Mindy, our server, was attentive and incredibly nice - she was sensitive to our plight of having hungry toddlers. The elephants and other animatronic animals were cute and entertaining. The blackened fish tacos and the Aloha salmon were both really good. I love an attentive restaurant manager; so I was happy Lacy came by to check on us and it was all great!

A great restaurant for kids and grown ups
Amazing food thats not too heavy yet very tasty. We will be coming back for sure. our waiter Oscar was so amazing!
.. Oscar was the best waiter ever!!!!! We had a large party but he was attentive to all of our needs, if I'm ever back in Vegas I'm coming here just for him. Now to the food. I decided on the spinach artichoke dip (not that great, just ok) and the rasta pasta ( I will say even though it's definitely not rasta because there is NO spice) it's a very tasty pasta. And I would get that again. The ambiance is the rainforest and it's a cute atmosphere... my BFF got the shrimp tacos and she said they were really good too... so all in all we are glad the buffet took forever to call us back!!!!
😍
This was my first time at this location.
It was definitely what I expected. We were able to sit near the sky that changed colors, had twinkling stars, shooting stars, and our most favorite was the thunderstorms. The animals become animated, and the kids LOVED it! I was so busy enjoying the ambiance and atmosphere with the kids that I didn't get pictures of all the food we ordered. But the food was great. A special thanks to Elivis and Christie for making our 8 yr old's birthday experience amazing! He loved every minute.

Ok, this isn't exactly the normal kind of restaurant that I go to these days, but my 4 year old nephew was in town and he loves animals, so it seemed like a no brainer we go here.We made reservations ahead of time, not sure what the demand would be like. They seated us exactly on the dot to our reservation and not a moment sooner. During the few minute wait (we were early), we roamed the gift shop and checked out the animals and decor there. My nephew loved it.Once we were seated, our waitress came over quickly and was very friendly. We got our orders placed and she let us know the kitchen was short staffed and to please be patient with the wait. The food came out in a standard amount of time, so no problem there. We actually thought the food was not bad at all, despite what some of the reviews here say. I had a pasta with alfredo sauce, my mom had a cobb salad, and my husband had a platter with a few different items on it. My nephew opted for his classic mac and cheese. Everything was tasty, and my nephew even said it was "really good mac and cheese". A high compliment from the mac and cheese connoisseur. So the food was good, the decor was great, and my nephew loved his mac and cheese. But this was one of the worst dinners we have ever had because he was TERRIFIED of the storms that went off every 20 minutes. We tried running him to the restrooms before it started but he refused to take his hands off of his ears and I had to hand feed him his mac and cheese because he was too scared to take his hands off his ears. He will probably never step foot into a jungle or woods ever again because he is totally traumatized from this rainforest experience.

We couldn't book a party here because we didn't get a call
We couldn't book a party here because we didn't get a call back and we're super bummed out but still wanted to come eat here. Elvis was super attentive and heard us speaking about what happened and how we couldn't get the birthday party we really wanted and he helped tremendously. We were able to sit under the "sky", get a few party bags, and a super cute birthday song! There's no shortage of kindness at the location, every employee was just as kind as Elvis! Our server Christie was attentive, knew the menu and helped with the little people as well lol. Here's what we got: Cobb salad - 10/10Chinese chicken salad - 10/10 it's a fan fav on the menu and I see why Children's Burger and friesChildren's pizza and fries(All children's meals were completely gone when we were ready to go)Grilled fish tacos - 10/10 nothing was left on the plate lolIf you are a fun person, as am I, please get your drink inside of a bongo drum, same price but more fun , it's a huge cup, and there are buttons that make it singListen, my visit here was nothing short of amazing! Thanks to Elvis and Christie 10/10 I'll always remember the kindness and tasty food!
Came to Rain Forest Cafe in Las Vegas specifically for chicken parmigiana. No deal. They took it off the menu. Ordered another meal that was decent (chicken fajitas) and split it with my husband…but not what I wanted. Prices are really ridiculous. We won’t be back.

Don’t choose the VIP dinner and ticket at Vegas.com
We were already pissed when we walked a mile through the Planet Hollywood Miracle Mile Shop Area to the restaurant. We purchased a so called VIP package of a dinner and a movie from Vegas.com. Our fault for assuming that the restaurant would be close to the theater. We literally walked a mile through the Miracle Mile Shop to get from the V theater to the Rainforest Cafe. The food and service was OK but I would have spent the $65 a person for a better meal. You had 5 choices and none was worth the amount of money we paid for the so called VIP experience

First visit. Great for families
Came in here to give it a try when looking for lunch. Have seen these Cafe's in varius locations on our travels but never actually went in. Until now. Great theming throughout the restaurant. I'm sure young children love it. The moving animals and lightning on the ceiling is a pretty nice touch to have in the background of your meal. The staff were all good and polite. Everything was explained in advance. Service was great and food arrived hot and within an acceptable time. We shared a starter and had two mains. One being vegetarian. Both were really tasty and the overall portion size was good. Prices were fine for the area. Nothing appeared to be extortionate. The place appeared to be clean and well looked after. We would definitely try these restaurants again if we came across one.

OMG THE BEST PLACE EVER!!!!! I love love love this place
OMG THE BEST PLACE EVER!!!!! I love love love this place not only because how awesome it is but our server was the best server I've ever had every time we come to Vegas i will go there just for him !!!!! Not only was the food delicious but Brandon our server made everything so much more amazing was so attentive and he LOVES KIDS AND HIS JOB!!! If i could have a Brandon at every restaurant i go to i would honestly eat our more often! It's so unique here there is definitely no place like it some people said it was too noisy i LOVED THE NOISE AND THE FLASHING LIGHTS AND ALL THE ANIMALS! I have SIX kids and they loved it ! Definitely ignore the ugly negative comments about the noise , clearly this place isn't meant for BORING PEOPLE !!!! Rainforest cafe name says it all! And my table was beautiful it had lions and tigers on it it's a work of art this place ! THNAK YOU LAS VEGAS FOR MAKING SUCH A AWSOME PLACE TO EAT ITS HARD TO FIND GOOD FOOD AND GREAT KID RESTAURANT ALL TOGETHERI CANT WAIT TO COME BACK !!! If you see this Brandon THANK YOU SO MUCH your sir deserve a raise for sure ! There's no one like you!

This was my first time going as an adult who can drink.
It was so nostalgic and overall amazing. The whole place is just so fun. The drinks were great and the staff was so kind. It was a fantastic experience!

I gave this rating primarily for the ambiance and service, the food was garbage but the service made up for it. Ambiance was really fun and interesting with plants and animatronic animals all over. The 2 year old we were with did not like the thunderstorm feature, he was terrified and also the large animatronic elephant.Service was good, everyone was very friendly and engaging, our waitress was so nice and helpful, as well as other staff members walking by our table. Food was not great, for the price of each dish I had higher hopes for the food. I ordered the Shrimp sampler platter that came with 2 kinds of breaded shrimp which were good, and 2 kinds of pan fried shrimp, the were terrible and bland. One came with a burning barbeque sauce and it was horrendous. The rice it came with was gross. Husband ordered a burger and fries, he thought it was good.
🤢
Careful if you are epileptic and are light sensitive.
We arrived and asked for a table, the girl on the desk asked if anyone had any food allergies which we don’t. We’re sat down ordered drinks and food and then without warning we experienced the mock thunderstorm with strobe effect lightning lasting a few minutes, unfortunately my wife has epilepsy so this was a little concerning, we asked our waitress how often this happened she said approximately every 15 to 20 minutes, you’ll know when because the animals get more excited, we explained the situation but was only offered to go outside when it happens again. The food was great and good service but the mock lightning ruined a nice meal. Complained to the manager, who was apologetic, didn’t really grasp an understanding of why we were complaining, It was pointed out that they asked about allergies but no warning about strobe lighting every 15 to 20 minutes and the potential problems it could cause.

We went here for lunch it’s a fun place especially for children inside as it’s very much like being in a jungle! We sat outside which was more for adults, the food is fantastic and not too badly priced either. Free pint glasses too (you do pay for them in your final bill though)
Really enjoyed the food, my son and I had the shrimp and fries, and my wife had the chicken salad. The service was excellent and the guy that was our waiter was excellent. He knew his job and was very helpful. I know it is a chain and caters for families, but these places can sometimes have less than professional staff. This I cannot say about this restaurant.
😒
Worth doing once if you can get a table and have kids but wouldn’t visit regularly.
Like most places we have found in Las Vegas they seem to be having extreme challenges recruiting staff. We had to wait nearly an hour for a lunch table despite more than half the tables in the restaurant being empty. They don’t have enough staff so appear to be keeping large parts of it closed. We found the same thing at the Cheesecake Factory with lots of empty tables but an hour wait for a table as they seem to be only accepting as many people as they can staff for. The food hear was fine and the atmosphere is fun for kids with great decor, animals etc but it’s not a restaurant I’d likely go back to a second time.

Wonderful Experience and Good Food
We were thrilled to find Rainforest Cafe down the strip when we used to go there when it was in MGM Grand. It took awhile for us to get seated, but it was so nice and not crowded We sat with the elephants and had a fabulous table and super service. I ordered the corn chowder and it was excellent! Our service overall was terrific and the food absolutely delicious. Highly recommend joining the Landry's Club program - it offers a nice discount.
Service-wise we had a better experience than recent reviewers. The place was not busy at all. The drinks were not cheap but we got the keep the glasses. Food was ok, not spectacular. I guess that the environment is the main reason to go there.

Well, this is why kids aren't the best judge of good food
Well, this is why kids aren't the best judge of good food lol. To their credit they picked nacho Daddy but it was too packed. Our server Brian was good and as attentive can be but the guy in the front was clueless and/or high as a kite. I wouldn't recommend anything we tried or coming here at all. The shrimp scampi Flatbread was bland as can be.The appetizer sampler plate was pretty awful in its own right. Chicken tenders were tough which means they traveled from the freezer to fryer. Not sure how to explain this last part but they somehow managed to mess up the honey mustard sauce it came with. The spinach dip tasted like a mixture of sour cream, mayo with no discernable flavor at all. The Margaritas we had while colorful, contained no alcohol but hey you get to keep the up as a reminder of that time you paid $17 for mix and salt on the rim.
This was the best experience. Food was awesome and atmosphere even better. The volcano dessert did go down hill and wouldn’t spend 20.00 on it anymore. It’s a lot smaller now and no sparkler. Restaurant was clean and waitress was awesome.

Ricky is a GEM! We left a pool party to come re-visit him
Ricky is a GEM! We left a pool party to come re-visit him because we had so much fun the first time. He has personality, and suggestions. He can chat and make a drink. I will visit Vegas again because of Ricky. I asked to speak to the manager, Elizabeth, because he was THAT GOOD!!!
😒
Lovely waiter, expensive and rather meh food but great fun atmosphere.
The food was just okay, nothing particularly wrong with it but not worth the money. They also didn't have the drink I wanted which was disappointing. The waiter was really nice and fun to have a chat with. The restaurant also opened at 11:30 however since the chefs were not ready we were told we could not be seated and had to wait 30mins outside the restaurant which was rather annoying. I'm a fan of terrible animatronics so this place excited me a lot, the animatronics barely move but the paint and coverings of the mechanisms seemed pretty good to me. Honestly, the atmosphere is everything I wanted it to be. The bathrooms were also really clean and very tidy.

Passing through the front entrance doesn't seem like much
Passing through the front entrance doesn't seem like much but once you come in you realized it's a big place! Ambience: it suits the name of the restaurant. Imagine the animals you will run into while being in the rainforest :) lighting is dim but you have the option to sit outside as well. Food: Creole Mac & Cheese- Penne pasta Al dente, it was very cheesy and flavorful with sausage and shrimp. 8/10Blackened Fish Tacos- it was 10/10 because hubby finished it all!Service- 10/10 Alberto was very attentive and he had to wait 10+ tables on our side!! Keep up the good work, we seeing you trying and working hard.It is a kid friendly restaurant and that's why we stopped in to try it out. We'll be back the next time we visit Las Vegas!

Las Vegas is known for their culinary artistry with restaurants of immaculate cuisine's. The Rainforest Café however, is not one of them. Of course, if you have kiddos with you the atmosphere is good times. Food is very basic and not a lot of options to choose from. One of those 'been there done that' type of places and don't need the T-shirt.
🙂
The food was pretty good.
It was for our son's birthday dinner, but. They charged for the birthday desert which has never happened before at any other restaurant. Overall, it was a good experience especially for the kids.

Great restaurant! The food was unbelievably good, the atmosphere was extraordinary! We had the server Damon, who was amazing! He was very personable and really funny! Will definitely come back again!
The food was good but our server ANTHONY was the worst person ever. He made annoyed faces every single time I talked to him. He showed attitude with his hands on his hips trying to be intimidating. Also, when we confronted him about his attitude and rude service, he raised his voice and denied his behavior!! He refused to apologize to me and kept screaming "you took it the wrong way" he was screaming to the maximum of his ability and everyone in the restaurant was looking at him because he was literally SCREAMING. Everyone at our table was offended by him from the minute that he came over to take orders. The whole time he kept throwing the menus at us and threw whatever he could and we didn't know what made him so angry. Because he refused to apologize, we had to talk to his manager. I said I would leave in peace if he apologized but he refused to do so. The manager was polite and professional unlike Anthony who is literally the worst person that I ever met. We stopped here while visiting the Vegas strip.
It's usually pretty busy so if you want to get a table make sure and make a reservation! Damon was our server and he was so great! Nice, easy to talk to and just downright fun! The food was awesome and my 2 year old loved watching all the animals move and make sounds. I had the Tuna Poke Bowl and it was beyond amazing! Kind of pricey ($30.00 ) but I would say it was worth it! They were out of the kids character ICEE cups so that was a bummer. We'll definitely be stopping back next time we're in town!

Slow service and a bit worse for wear. Food was decent enough for what it is
We were really looking forward to our dinner here as we had fond memories of the rainforest cafe when it was in the MGM hotel. Sadly, the experience was slightly marred by the rude hostess who made us feel like an inconvenience. However, the food was great and Mindy (our server) was exceptional. She was so hard working and went out of her way to make sure all her tables were happy. Thank you Mindy!
