Had a large party for dinner at the Roku in Vegas Forum Shops. Food (4/5) - we ordered multiple orders of dishes including sashimi, maki, sushi and sides. Everything was fresh and good presentation as expected. Sashimi was bit lower quality than I would expect for the price. Notable dishes that were quite good: - Katana - spicy tuna shrimp tempura topped with tuna yellowtail and spicy mayo - Tuna Jalapeno - spicy tuna avocado tempura topped with tuna sashimi olive oil cilantro Service (4.5/5) - servers were responsive and knowledgeable. Attentive and friendly. Atmosphere (4/5) - nice appointments and layout as expected. Overall found it a little dark... even in different areas of the restaurant. Overall (4/5) - this Roku is good overall quality as expected with a Vegas price premium as expected.
Excellent food and service
Way exceeded my expectations. The food was outstanding. So fresh and flavorful. Best miso soup I have had. The Brussels sprout chips were amazing. I had sushimi-as good as it gets. Someone said the decor wasn’t nice but we thought it was lovely. Would definitely come back here if I was in Vegas again.

Amazing! We went on our first night in Vegas to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food was so delicious and fresh and the service was amazing. They sat us by with window for a view of the strip, which I requested, and it was so nice. They also brought a complimentary dessert and cute sparkler since I mentioned a birthday. Such a nice experience! I'd definitely go back.
Good food, good service
The Sushi was excellent, the service also, however pretty expensive. The place were terrible noisy, as there were some tables with crazy, noisy and drunk people. If dinner for about $ 100 and up is ok, then go ahead, the food, as mentioned is very good.

So....im just sitting down and I hate to post a review prior to tasting the food. However, the way the hostess sat us couldn't have been worse. Whoever she is, she was absolutely unprofessional and Infact made me feel slightly threatened. I asked why we had to wait to be seated as the restaurant was clearly not full. She nearly waived her hand in my face explaining that I was inappropriate for asking why. I used to be a Chef and ran restaurants for decades so that behavior is absolutely unacceptable. You need patrons to want to feel welcomed and that's not how we were left feeling

Found Sushi Roku just in time for happy hour specials at the bar. There is a discounted menu on drinks and food items from 4-6 with their full menu still available. Service was great and our order arrive quickly. The bar is tucked in near the front so no strip views but there are TVs and still a good place to seat. I did get a picture of the drink but the pineapple fusion was very yummy and refreshing.
Exceptional food.
I don't eat seafood and the steak and lamb were outstanding. Eggplant dish and brussel sprouts might have been my favorite. Service was amazing. Great date night or group dinner vibe.

Our waiter, Alex was terrific along with the restaurant manager, Jasmine, who made our night by serving us 3 shots with a presentation to rave about! Even the hostess was so very friendly. All of our food was outstanding and will look forward to going back again!

Service was great, sat right away and server offered some recommendations. I got the amberjack nigiri, and katana, senshi, tokubetsu rolls. The senshi was the best of all 3. The Tokubetsu and Katana both were a 5/10 and Senshi 7/10. Not worth going back.

My first solo sushi experience in Vegas! I sat at the counter and asked my amazing chef to pick my app. He made the choice and presented me with the Toro Black Truffle. It was amazing, I cannot recommend that dish enough. I then when with the Chef's Special. It was also amazing, he did not repeat any flavor and it was delicious. I also had the Zen Garden, it was a tiny bit limey to me but still refreshing. I absolutely loved my entire experience.
There's an amazing view from this restaurant.
Most importantly, the food and service were outstanding. Everyone was attentive, professional, and quick. The Chef's tasting was amazing. I was confused by the filet, mashed potatoes, and baby carrots with this pairing as it did not go with the rest of the sushi type of pairing. It was very good though. Cooked to perfection. The dessert pairing of the mochi was not my favorite, but it tasted good.

I can't speak for other planets, but on this one, there is no better sushi. Titan roll was excellent. Spicy panko shrimp was as well. Atmosphere can be a bit busy and loud depending where you get seated, but the sushi is crazy good. Shannon was an excellent server. If you are visiting solo, sitting at the bar is a better (less hectic) option.

Do yourself a favor and order the sea bass screwers! They were so delicious we ordered another round! Any fish you order is going to be fresh and flavorful. We have been twice and got the same waiter, who was fantastic! What we love about it, is the comfort of eating out. You get a great view of the strip and perfect lighting to make for a moody dinner.
We sat at the Sushi Bar and had a wonderful experience.
The Staff and Sushi Chefs were AMAZING and the quality of the food was exceptional. We went with some of their recommendations and added our own tastes to our choices. Favorites were the Spicy Edamame, Cauliflower App, the Katana Roll, Tuna Jalapeño and Spicy Tuna. YUM!!! I would definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant. We were in an out in no time too cuz we were off to see Absinthe...another MUST do!

The hostess was very friendly and the place is very nice. It has a dim, sophisticated and chic decor and ambiance, with a beautiful view of the Strip. The staff are pretty responsive, but sometimes I had to get their attention to place orders but for the most part they were available. The food was really good though and the hot entrees came out piping hot indicating that the food did not just sit in the window for a long time. The crispy chicken was made with chicken thighs (which I love) and paired well with the lemon and sauce. I honestly would be ok with this being an entree if it were not a sushi restaurant hahaha. The miso glazed popcorn shrimp was really good also. It has a sweet taste and it is a good portion size for two or 3 people. I would have loved to eat this with rice as an entree also because it was so good. I ordered the baked lobster which was pretty good if you like warm sushi. It was 5 pieces with a pretty good sized piece of lobster and veggie in each piece. Although it was good, I would select a different roll next time. Lastly, the cookies and cream mochi ice cream was ok. Next time I will pick strawberry because the cookies and cream tasted like it was basically just vanilla. Overall it was a good experience and I will visit again to try more of the menu!

Ok service. Ok food. Very expensive & not worth the hype. The Toro Carpaccio was delicious as well as the signature drinks but everything else was blah.
I came here for a team dinner while at a conference.
As soon as I walked in and saw the "sushi" on other people's tables, I could tell that the food was not going to be great. All of the fish looked dull and were small cuts. My team ordered a variety of rolls, nigiri, and cooked chicken dishes. The food is definitely geared towards Americans and isn't authentic in the least. The fish did not taste fresh and somehow all of the different varieties of fish tasted the same.

Food is very good... The Sea Bass was the best I have enjoyed in Las Vegas. Reviews from Yelp and others would suggest the restaurant has good ambiance and atmosphere. Not so much... again, food is wonderful but book somewhere else if it's a special date or you want some mood or atmosphere while dining.

Overall great restaurant. The food was really tasty and different roll's then I've seen elsewhere. Great views of the strip depending on where you are seated. Ambiance was very nice as well, and service oustanding.

The service was amazing. We had to be out quickly to get to our show on time and they more then exceeded our expectations. We even had time for deserts and just like the various sushi we tried, they were awesome!

Isaac was an awesome server, knew the menu well and made some good conversation! Food was excellent. Tried the tuna bites over fried rice as an appetizer. Got a specialty cocktail, delish! View of the strip was good from the back of the restaurant. I would go there again as it was as good food AND reasonably priced for Vegas standards.
10-Year Wedding Anniversary Dinner.
I surprised my wife with a trip to Vegas, departing the day of our wedding anniversary and booked our anniversary dinner at Sushi Roku that same evening. We had been to this restaurant once before with friends back in 2015 and my wife just wouldn't stop talking about it over the years. It was the best surprise and we had such a great time! The food and service were absolutely spectacular, just like we remembered. We will definitely be back again and can't wait to visit the new location in Austin when it opens and we are in the area.

Stopped in for a quick bite while we were out exploring Vegas. Our fav sushi spot wasn't opened yet, so we decided to give it a try. It was GREAT! We sat at the bar, had quick, friendly service. I had a mojito and my husband a glass of wine. We ordered one roll and he ordered some nigiri sushi. All was super fresh, cut perfectly with great flavors. It definitely fixed our craving and I would absolutely go back!

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
