Very pleasant on the Terrace, but some service flaws
It was a lovely summer evening such that being on the Terrace was very pleasant. Note that the menu is a reduced version of that available indoors - this was explained as due to "Health & Safety" regulations The food was very good but we suffered from some service flaws, the worst being servers bringing dish after dish at such a pace, too early on, that the table became overloaded with food which it was undesirable to eat at such speed. Yet, when they were asked to slow down a bit, and we had a short "time-out", there was an overreaction so that a steak dish was said not be ready for some 30 minutes, because they had not put the order in. The manager took charge of this unfortunate situation and made sure that the steak arrived much sooner.
Excellent sushi, great vibe.
Rebecca was brilliant. She asked us if she could recommend a cocktail that wasn't on the menu, it was a great recommendation and we both enjoyed it. Thank you so much to Rebecca and the rest of the team. Everyone was very welcoming, we will definitely come back.
Wonderful, Amazing, Great
The most amazing meal I have had for a long time. Fantastic menu choices .I would recommend the Belly Pork with Butterscotch Miso and the seaweed salad. Service was excellent, swift and very helpful when trying to choose. Hopefully I will return.

We had some time to kill before our dinner reservation so we popped in here for a few cocktails. They were incredible and the service we received from Andrey and Trish was excellent, really friendly and attentive. We would absolutely come again!
We were excited by the look of the menu and the restaurant.
Sadly, the cover of this book didn't match the contents. We were on the last night of a 3 week vacation and decided to have, what we though would be, a great last dining experience for the trip. The place is very reminiscent of CATCH LA, complete with the uber pretentious attitude, which I am not opposed to, but you'd better deliver. We perused the sake menu and made a bottle choice only to be told they no longer carry it. Still on the menu, but whatever. I asked for a suggestion at the same price point (€100), and he suggested 2 options in the €200 range. We decided to just have cocktails. The server was not extremely acclimated to the menu and didn't know basic cocktails (manhattan, old fashioned). We ordered the "Premium Taste of Samba" and expected something special. They asked about allergies and preferences,, we said no tomatoes and no olives. Of course, since I'm metioning that, it means they completely ignored it. Bad Pacing was ridiculously fast, and we had 3 courses on the table at once, so we requested they slow it down. They did, but I could see that the chef was not pleased (we sat right in front of his station so I could see him the entire time). He also spent a ton of time looking at stuff on his phone, which is pretty gross. Food was pretty pedestrian for the expectations. Almost nothing was special, even though it sounded like it should be. The Toro Tradito and the Rainforest dessert were exceptional. The latter was beautifully conceived and was delicious. Complete letdown was the "Premium" Nigiri, which was salmon and tuna. NOT Otoro, but just tuna. Huh? The filet wasn't a great cut of meat and was pretty tough and undercooked. AND had tomatoes on the plate. We would NOT return, but I wouldn't say to steer clear, but I suggest you just order a la carte.
An innovative refreshing culinary experience
This spot is great for a high end stylish night out. We were greeted by Isabella, a fantastic hostess, who warmly greeted us and promptly ushered us to our table. Once seated, the waiter took the time to explain the whole menu and recommend some creative cocktails which were delicious. The sushi was some of the best Ive had and I will definitely be coming back. Would highly recommend.

Overpriced food
Booked for a fixed menu for two. The ceviche drenched in some kind of vinaigrette and the only rolls they offer are a California roll (with truffle?) and a vegetable roll. We knew we were going to leave hungry even after dropping £70 so we spent another £18 on another more appetising roll off the main menu. We still left hungry but overloaded on the desert with sugar just needed up feeling quite unfulfilled at the end. 2x fixed menu with an appetiser each, 1 roll each and a share roll, 2 deserts, 1x bottle of beer and 2 coffees = £123. The only reason this has 2 stars is because the service was attentive and the roll that we paid extra for was okay. But we won’t be back.

Upon entering off the street you are greeted by a hostess who directs you up the circular stairs. Upstairs the long restaurant is decorated with a variety of themes. The first being live plants. The service was exceptional. We had Toro tuna and Salmon sashimi. It was of good quality. We also had a roll that had melted mozzarella cheese in it. A first for me and delicious.

Amazing service and the ambiance is so indoor garden meets chic! I love the whole vibe. Me and my boyfriend did the afternoon tea and it was quite the experience. My first time trying caviar was a good one! Also everything we tried was fresh & delicious!

At SUSHISAMBA in Covent Garden, lunch with friends turned into a culinary delight. The exquisite small bites were a hit, encouraging us to try a variety. The champagne was top-notch, enhancing the experience. Service by our Latin American waiter was exceptional--attentive and knowledgeable about the food, adding to the enjoyment. The atmosphere was simply incredible, making it a memorable dining experience.

Overpriced mediocrity
Please you have to take my review as a real reflection here. If you go here and spend your hard earned money, you are rewarding mediocrity. You are literally paying for location. I have dined at Japanese restaurants all over the world and elsewhere in London. This is truly poor quality and the prices are ludicrous. I am happy to pay up for value but this isn’t it. Food - very mediocre. This is really poor Japanese food. The chefs clearly do not know what they are doing. Ingredients actually were quite poor which no doubt didn’t help the chefs. I suspect the owners are price gouging, trying to squeeze out as much profit as they can. Drinks - overpriced cocktails. They were tasty but so full of ice relative to liquid, you were paying £15-20 for two mouthfuls. Staff - 4 different waiters served us. All got what we asked for wrong. They all lacked energy, any interest, or knowledge or capability. You have to feel sorry for them. They are clearly not invested in through training or motivation. Please avoid.

Don’t know what to say probably after reading and looking pic I expected something more but generally it’s nice place probably evening time even better The service is low, because when you need the server it is very hard to get them.Food prices very high but that is London for you 😂 not sure if I return

Great ambience seamless service
We didn’t book but were able to wait for a table, The cocktails were amazing, highly recommend the Tom Yam. The ambience is amazing, buzzing but not stressed! We ordered food to share, were given great advice not just on recommended dishes but also on amounts to order. The blackened cod is to amazing! Relaxed service but attentive. Wine glasses frequently refilled but seamlessly done. Would definitely go back for another visit.
Afternoon Tea
I came here for the opening of Afternoon Tea. What a delight. Such a cool combination of unique food options. Wagyu katsu sliders, taquitos, sushi, Battenberg. Had such a lovely meal.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
