Good food, but I must say I'm terribly disappointed with how difficult it is to actually get seating. Essentially they want you to come there stand and wait for hours. There is no way to make a reservation or call ahead, and they don't even have a take-out option. In general staff have an air of superiority as is common in this part of Dallas. As much as I like the food, and the outside patio, they make it impossible to actually go there unless you have all day to waste your time

Always the same quality - just like all Hillstone restaurants. I feel like the focus of this place is to see and be seen. No real vegan options. Which is a bummer for this part of town.

I've always enjoyed Honor Bar, but this time around I wasn't impressed. I came with my 2 friends and we were treated so poorly. Service sucked. We were there for 2.5 hours and only saw our waiter maybe 4 times. When we were almost done with our meal we asked for one last round. It took 20+ minutes for it to arrive. While finishing the drink, the hostess came up and passive aggressively picked up a few things off our table and said "can you believe we're still on a 3 hour wait and we're closing soon" - aka "leave now." Pretty bold considering we likely would have left after 1.5 hours if the service was attentive and drinks came out quicker.

We came for my girlfriend's birthday, but left feeling very disappointed.1) We weren't made aware that two of the menu items were out of stock until we tried to order them (seafood cocktail and tuna tartare). We wanted both, so that was a bit of a bummer.2) We had to ask to order our glasses of wine, as well as our entrees. We waited around 15 minutes after we finished our second appetizer until we asked to place our main course order. On top of all of this, we were never served water through multiple visits to our table and we eventually had to request two glasses of water. No silverware was served with the steak main course detailed below.3) We ordered the chicken sandwich and the flat iron steak, both of which were served to us on the border of slightly warm and cold. Further, the steak was extremely salty so much so that we had to ask for a different dish because all we could taste was the salt. I've never sent a plate back to the kitchen, but this warranted it. We ordered salmon as a replacement dish, but it took a significant amount of time to order the dish and we were already at wits-end at this point, so we cancelled the dish.Waitress told us she comped the steak (barely ate before we sent it back) as well as the salmon (which we never even saw). I love Highland Park Village and all of the visits I've made to the Honor Bar (burger and chicken sandwich are phenomenal) over the years, but this one fell really flat.

The menu is small but has classic favorites from other Hillstone branch menus. The food was tasty and drinks were good. The wait to get a table isn't necessarily worth the experience.

Wow! First time using this website/app. It was almost hard to believe the quality of customer service I received as soon as I posted my offer. A private chat forum with me and the person helping me find the best option. Constant communication and a wonderful experience using Appointment Trader. I'm surprised it took me this long to find AT but this will now be my GO TO for hard to get restaurant reservations. It was like having my own private concierge.

My first experience using AT was awesome and the AT support saved the day! When my booking transfer initiated two days earlier but didn't complete by the day of the reservation, AT was able to expedite the transfer and confirm a table at Call Me Gaby in Miami Beach. Made our trip to NYC

I highly recommend this service. Reservations sell out in minutes as they become available at this restaurant. I was able to get a table at the exact time we wanted, on a peak weekend night. Amazing!

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Best Answer Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
