Excellent food, Excellent service! Great ambiance! I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. I had the rack of lamb, very tasty, the scallops were on point, the foie Gras, delicious! The chef prepared bread was to die for. The music playing made me feel nostalgic. I would definitely call NoMad Library my new go to restaurant in Vegas!

I agree about the chicken. We had it last year and it was amazing. This year, meh. I had no idea someone could trademark a recipe, and this version just is not it. However, the hamacki beet salad is still delicious.

Cool setting but downhill from there. The library buildout is incredible and makes you feel like you’re at Hogwarts. But the food is average at best, the service is so-so (except for the hostess who was very warm), and the volume that they play the music at-and the type of music-just doesn’t go with the place. We wanted to leave when we first got there due to the music and wish we did after eating and getting the bill.

Such a great experience! From the food to the ambiance, this place is a gem of a restaurant in Vegas. Our waitress was very attentive and our food and drinks were delicious! Was definitely pricey but hey that's Vegas and it was such a wonderful experience I'd go back again in a heartbeat. Bonus points for the Nomad bar being right across the hall for pre and post dinner drinks. A must try in Vegas!

We started with some old fashions and table side tuna tartare. It was nice seeing the tuna tartare prepared by our table, but the portion was tiny and I didn't think it was worth it. Tasted great, but small portion.Entree was a filet, which was good. Didn't blow me away, but still good.Favorite thing on the menu was milk and honey ice cream. Now that was amazing. It was so good, I ordered it twice.

I had been dreaming about the famous chicken ever since hearing about it in New York. The foie gras, the truffles, the presentation.... I just want everyone to be aware that they change the incarnations in Las Vegas every few months, and while I am also aware that the original recipe is dead (I think not allowed for trademark reasons), the newest menu has the foie gras and truffles listed as ingredients, so I was hopeful. There was no grand presentation....the cut up chicken is just served in a cast iron skillet with the rice with chorizo and peas underneath. We could not discern ANY foie or truffle taste, so asked our server - she said it is pulverized and mixed with the breadcrumbs under the skin. Totally lost. Now, I want everyone to pay attention to what I just described about the chicken....chicken with saffron rice mixed with chorizo and peas....now what does that sound like? We wish we had been smart enough to figure it out beforehand, but it tasted exactly like....paella. $120 paella. Now you decide if that's what you want to do. We were totally disappointed. The place is lovely. We just wished we had ordered something else.

The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! It's dark, sexy, and interesting. The food was not as fun. We started with the buratta. which was very good. For the main course we ordered the scallops, sea bass, and pommes aligot. My sea bass was water logged and tough. I eat a lot of sea bass and this was without a doubt the worst piece I have ever had. It felt and tasted like a piece of frozen fish with freezer burn. I sent it back and did not order another dish. The scallops were decent. They were prepared well, but the sauce and the scallops were individually over seasoned and as a result the dish was very salty. The best part of the main course was the potatoes, which were simple and delicious. I did enjoy the celebratory cotton candy. It was a unique flavor and not too sweet. I had high hopes for Nomad Library and was very disappointed.

Wanted to try something new and was recommended this place. Had a couple drinks at the bar before dinner and bartenders were amazing. Had a nice circular couch for dinner and the food did not disappoint. The table side tuna tartar was out of this world amazing. Best tuna tartar I've ever had. The Branzino was great and slightly better than the Seabass. Burrata salad is a great choice. The Ricotta Cavatelli was incredible. Service was absolutely perfect. I will be back.

From the waiter to the atmosphere everything was excellent! The No-Mad Library is already reserved our next trip The best Chilean Sea Bass dish hands down Great Filets Great sides and cocktails. The service was outstanding from the staff ! Not staying at the No-Mad the next trip however we made sure to reserve a table here again.

We like to go to the NoMad library when we are in Las Vegas - the big draw being the wine cellar and the meat-centric menu. They are a central cellar for high-end wines for MGM properties in Las Vegas (according to a general manager we talked to on a previous visit) and always has an incredible selection. If you don’t mind talking your time with the list you can always find something amazing for a (Las Vegas) reasonable price. Don’t expect any insightful help making your pick though (See below about the sommelier). The food is a solid 4.5 out of 5. Always ‘elevated’ to a reasonable degree and reasonably priced (for Las Vegas). Service is good, although it seems like the waitstaff has too many tables to cover per person. There is always someone who stands out on the staff - this time it was Eric, who was always there at the right moment, and had a remarkably great attitude. The biggest disappointment continues to be the sommelier. He’s been at NoMad for our last 2 visits and is simply incompetent. Which I don’t say lightly. I wouldn’t usually be so hard on a sommelier. These days (especially in Las Vegas - for reasons I don’t completely understand) diners can’t assume that somms will know much about the list. But! This somm is actually ‘dangerous’ because (in his quest to sound knowledgeable, I think) both times he’s served us he has tried to steer us to other wines of very different styles - that he said he heard another diner say they liked - that aren’t nearly as good (or targeted at our food selections) as what I’ve selected. To have a cellar like this and such a clown for a sommelier is a real shame. And I think it hurts sales of the more expensive wines.

As a world traveler, I’m not always caught by surprise and in utter shock by the fact that I wish I lived in Vegas to have access to Nomad Library ;). My GOD can I just express my gratitude for the effort, stance, the passion that it clearly took to take my palate into another world of beauty. Yes, this experience was metaphysical in a profound way that I wish I had left over food to store in my luggage to take back to Philly. I actually moved to Philly after coming on a business trip and eating the food which I now live around for 23 years. You guys at the library ROCKED it. I must say Joel is 1 of a kind. He had such a great unsuspecting sense of humor, professionalism and dedicated experience it’s easy to trust him and his recommendations. They clearly have a team approach. The enthusiasm of other staff we interacted with incl the lovely man who served the Tuna Tartar shared his story and made our food with love + happiness. Then the water was never empty at the table, he too smiled, and Chef Phillip was dynamic. I could sense the pride and joy he may be feeling to see a room of happy people making memories, “one bite at a time!” I know you are a reason to return as a destination alone! I see why staff at nomad hotel recommended you all.

WOW, what a lovely dining experience! The huge library setting was so romantic and just beautiful! The service was exceptional, we lacked for nothing and were constantly checked on without being invaded by being over checked. The food was absolutely amazing, my husband had the scallops and I had the Sea Bass. Both were perfectly cooked and the sauces were outstanding, So glad we tried this and will happily go back any time!

We went to the Nomad with our kids to celebrate our daughter's 13th birthday. The interior is stunning, just a gorgeous setting that feels like you're walking into a movie. Menu is very limited with very few options. Appetizers were just ok, but entrees were great - the roast chicken is their star dish, and it didn't disappoint. Four rather than five stars - server was not warm, and service in general felt very impersonal; also, I had noted that it was our daughter's birthday on the reservation, and while other tables received a complimentary cotton candy and good wishes for anniversaries and birthdays, we unfortunately did not.

Everything about this meal was great with the exception of the sommelier. It’s the only thing that kept me from giving it a 5, but I would go back. I’ll give them a mulligan and chalk it up to one person having an off day. The Waygu prime rib for 2 was on point!

One of my tests of a bar is to throw the bartender a drink and see if they know how to make it. It's not that I want to mock them--it's just that sometimes you just want that certain drink. In this case, I asked for a Singapore Sling, and viola! made precisely how it ought to be made. Sitting at the bar, I watched as both bartenders did a fantastic job slinging up a variety of beautiful concoctions. And both were friendly, positive, and enjoyable to talk to. Yes, drinks are expensive. But this is not your everyday bar--it's a place to go when you want to treat yourself. Favorite upscale bar that I've been to.

I originally had a reservation just for myself. But my friends wanted to join me. They were able to change my reservation last minute to accommodate my friends. The entrance was awesome when we walked in the dining area. They staff were friendly. Our waiter was friendly and attentive to our needs. I ordered the scallops and baked potatoes. I enjoyed them both. I would definitely eat here again when I am back in town.

Right off the bat, I love the atmosphere here. The decor is awesome and the staff were all outstanding! One of my friends has a long list of allergies and is a bit of a light weight... and the servers not only went out of their way to figure out some tasty options for them.. but they also had the bartender mix up special drinks for them to try that would not effect his allergies nor push him over the edge alcohol wise. Our server, Daniel, was spectacular. He was the perfect balance of being attentive but not intrusive. In addition he was personable and had a great sense of humour. I have no doubt that if I had showed up and just asked for them to make all my decisions for food and drink, I would pleasantly satisfied. Because we knew were going to a steak house the following night we went for the chicken. This was probably the best chicken I have ever had... normally I would not even consider getting chicken at a restaurant... but boy am I glad we did. The chicken is for two, but honestly could have easily fed four... It was so tasty and juicy and even tasted great cold the next day! I am still thinking about that dish. The drinks were also very tasty, pricey.. but hello Vegas... We had a very long meal here... I am surprised they did not try to get rid of us sooner...we never felt rushed or like we had out stayed our welcome. The only downside was dessert. We got some coffee related one (I cannot remember what it was called) and a chocolate cake type one... they were both only 'ok' But we did not come here for dessert. I will for sure be making this a normal spot for future Vegas visits.

Cool atmosphere, but the food is extremely overpriced and lacking in quality and options. Expensive cocktails that were 50% ice and garnish, paired with a rude server were the icing on the cake. Will not return. Trust me, as a frequenter of Vegas, there are so many better options.

Wonderful 21st birthday dinner

We went to the Library at Nomad for our daughters 21st birthday and it was amazing. The bartender made her a special drink in a tiki . <y son and other daighter had the american wagu for two. My wife and the birthday girl had some vegiterrian sides and I had a modified seabass. Since I don't do shell fish they prepared it differently. All of the food was excellent, however, what really set it apart was the excellent service. Out server was Daniel and he may have been the best waiter that we ever had. If not the best certainly in the top 5 or 10. The food wasn't cheap but for the Las Vegas strip I thought it was very reasonable.

-- Interior, as others have pointed out, is really nice :) -- Sea Bass was outstanding! -- Filet was great! -- Seafood tower -- SERIOUSLY, how can the same chef who made the other outstanding dishes even serve the "seafood tower"??!?! It's SO bad. Combinations that are horrible & don't work, in a culinary sense. (Not based upon personal preference... based upon the culinary sense.) And for the seafood tower, outrageously expensive. SO -- as the title suggests, this place is hit or miss. Our server was good, but not very personable. A bit pushy, but in a passive aggressive way. Nothing that "sounds bad on paper" or that you can put your thumb on. But, just something that you can definitely feel. Just didn't feel "the love." I'd say give this place a try, but know what you are getting into. We might go back if we are in the area, but probably only for the sea bass and filet. SKIP on the "raw seafood" as it's subpar & disappointing.

We came here for dinner before Silk Sonic! I love everything about the atmosphere. It looks like one gigantic beautiful library. It's a great date night spot, and they were playing old school music too - Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, Marvin Gaye, etc. We ordered the prime rib for 2 and the Brussel sprouts.The prime rib was incredibly tender, the mashed potatoes were a dream (they're mostly Gruyère lol, so my cheese loving ass was sooo happy). I don't love horseradish, but the horseradish cream they provide was insane. The Brussels were also amazing. Crisped to perfection. Wonderful aperol spritz as well!Everything about the meal was delish. Come here for sure!!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
