We had great food and the atmosphere was also very pleasant. Aspen prices seem to be higher than those in the rest of the U.S. for the same dishes. Service was great. I had the gnocchi bolognese and a grrat salad.

The pasta wasn't the best because the tomato sauce was store bought. The stuff it was supposed to come with was very little. Although the mushroom rollatini was pretty good. The service was was good and was timely. The prices are over the roof though. I got a olives with some cheese and it was $18 and they weren't warm or herbed. The ambience was overall a good experience, if it was priced better then I would consider going back for a casual dinner

Gluten Free Guy (Celiac)Look, the lamb chops and the gluten free bread had me locked in on a 5 star. They were stupendous ... highly recommend. Fries great too. I would not recommend getting the GF pasta here. I've had great and terrible GF pasta, this was somewhere in the lower quintile, clams were great though. Stick to meat if you have celiac disease. Ambiance, service A+.

The one thing I can say about this place was the ambience was very beautiful from the lights outside to the decorations and the bar inside. I do however think it was a little overrated I've had pasta way better millions of places I wasn't a fan. The one thing I can see with the drinks were incredible but the food even the calamari wasn't a hit it was a little soggy wish it was more crispy. My pasta tasted very heavy didn't have a lot of flavor wish it was more creamy but it felt very grainy.

We arrived 10 minutes before our 7pm reservation. We checked in and Anna said we should wait for our table. Then another family from New York showed up and they were sat ahead of us with the same 7pm reservation time. Anna is not a fair person. We have many other choices in aspen for dinner and that’s we’re will will go. Aquafina has lost a frequent costumer!!! Easy to be rude in the good times. Good luck in the coming downturn. We will not be supporting you.

We have been eating here for years. Have tolerated the highly variable service and at times extravagantly overpriced seafood - for equally as long - in service to the outstanding pasta. Last night, however, put me over the top. You may have noticed that prices in Aspen have increased significantly since COVID. Aspen is now home of the $48 hamburger. My beef, however (excuse the pun) was not with the food, but with the management. On the wine list, there was a listing for an italian red wine, 1000 ml, for $18. I thought - must be a mistake. So I asked the waiter - "a bottle of wine in Aspen for $18 - must be a mistake." No, he assures me, "$18 for the bottle!" Of course, the check arrives and the tab is $90 for the bottle of wine. When I asked to speak to the manager, she points to the top of the menu page and notes that the heading is Wines by the Glass. Surely I doth protest too much because on the menu directly next to where it is written 1000ml it lists the price $18. So, after 60 years and multiple academic degrees, I find myself being schooled by a 20 something (whose native language is not English) on how to read a menu. Only in Aspen! But, of course, my wife (who is a slave to pasta) mentioned to me after dinner this evening (at a different Italian restaurant) - should have gone to Acquolina. Sometimes in life, one can just not win.

Went to a wedding rehearsal dinner here - the food was great, the atmosphere was warm but lively, and the service was excellent. Specifically want to thank Virginia who saw my wife and I trying to eat while tending to our 1-year old and she came up to us saying how much she loves kids/babies and offered to walk him around for a bit while we ate our entrees. Such kindness, and such an above-and-beyond disposition that had a huge impact on our night. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

We enjoyed the sleek atmosphere at the bar in this restaurant. We had delicious food and lovely service! Our bartender was Kaden (not sure of the spelling) and he was very helpful and fun to talk to. He did a nice job of striking the balance between joking around with us and letting us have our space. We ordered ciabatta bread that was warm from the oven and served with wonderfully salty butter. We got the burrata appetizer which was delicious! We then shared a salad with baby greens, apples, candied walnuts (not TOO sugary like they so often are) and a stilton-y cheese. It was so lightly and perfectly dressed. We split the prosciutto pizza and it was DELICIOUS!In short, I would definitely come back here and 10% recommend it to anyone visiting Aspen. It was expensive but not as much as some other places. It was totally worth it.

I'm visiting from The Bay Area, so my Italian and seafood standards are very high. The food was good, not great, but the staff was amazing. The bartender actually told us not to order one appetizer because he didn't think I'd enjoy it given where I was coming from. The bar is extremely well stocked, we sat at the bar to eat and enjoyed talking to the bartender who was very friendly. If you want a more casual dinner that isn't $$$$ then I'd recommend it.

Disappointing for the prices

I have travelled to Italy many times so might be a bit more picky than most but also dine often locally. This restaurant has been in Aspen a very long time but went through at least 1 owner change. I ordered a Caesar salad for a starter and the seafood pasta as a main. The Caesar was one of the worst I have tasted with almost no taste (The dressing was more like mayonnaise as opposed to any hint of anchovy or the many ingredients that go into a good dressing. The seafood pasta was okay, a bit heavy on sauce (Would have preferred to see some cherry tomatoes and light sauce versus traditional American sauce). I would say the main dish was decent to the extent I might return but certainly not great or worth the prices, but then again it is Aspen. No bread on the tables, and an extra charge for anchovies on the salad also. For $19 on a starter salad I would have expected more.

Nice atmosphere on Main Street, pricy like many other restaurants in Aspen. Ive been here many times especially when it first opened at least 10-15 years when I think it was better. I only ordered the Caesar salad as a starter and Seafood pasta for a main dish. The Caesar dressing was tasteless and when I asked for a Side of the dressing realized it was more like Mayo than any correlation to a good sophisticated dressing (Anchovy paste, eggs, garlic etc). The main dish was decent, but certainly to worth the cost. Service was excellent and the location is nice as well. They charged me extra for a few anchovies on top of the salad but for a $19 salad thought this was a bit much. The seafood pasta was in a bit of an American sauce versus just cherry tomatoes (Jus) such as Italy but overall not bad. I might be a bit picky traveling to Italy often and eating in many American Cities. Also, would have been nice to have some bread sticks or bread on the table but assume it was all extra.

The food and drinks were great, we got the carbonara and pappardelle pastas, both soooo good! Our service was excellent, starting with the hostess! Our server was very kind and attentive as well, I believe her name is Lizzie. Overall a great experience!

The food was decent, but the service of a few people were terrible. We came into the restaurant and asked to sit towards the back of the restaurant-- away from a lot of people, noise and the front door. One host said "yes, I'll get that setup for you (set the table)." Then a second host came up and said "hi hello, the back of the restaurant is actually closed," (there's multiple tables with people at them) I said oh how come? And she said "we would be glad to seat you at the front of the house." So we obliged and decided to sit with all the other guests and loudness and crammed tables. The end of my story. If you're into good food-- it ain't bad. If you want respectful, considerate customer service-- this isn't your place.

Not sure what the bad reviews are about! Boyfriend took me here during our Aspen trip and I have nothing but compliments for this place. The truffle ravioli special was absolutely phenomenal and the regular pappardelle was just as delicious. (Not pictured) we also had some burrata appetizer with bread that was equally amazing. Service was great, and I really enjoyed Aspen rich moms' fashion show here too. :)I did accidentally overhear other guests who sat right next to us complain about their Caesar salad tasting worse than grocery store ones, but why on earth are you ordering Caesar salad at an authentic Italian restaurant? It's "Trattoria & Pizzeria", not "Sweetgreen", sir.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Best Answer Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
