Wonderful!!! The service was great and food was amazing as well, as expected for the price. The view was also an added touch. I ended up putting in a request to get a reservation because the night was full, per the reservation website. I received an email that my request was granted and since that, there was wonderful communication provided about my reservation. I appreciated the text communication. We also loved how there was a balcony that was open to walk around. Plus that the waiter was able to split our bill four ways too. I'd definitely go back for an occasion!

We had an early dinner reservation on a Friday and started off a little rough. The express elevator to the restaurant had a line of 20 people when we arrived and was slooow. I asked a lobby employee if we can use the guest elevators and they said no, we would need a room key. Waited about 15 mins for our turn on the elevator. Rough start! However, dinner was amazing. We had a tomahawk steak and a fillet and both were delicious and prepared perfectly. Our drinks were also great and were delivered quickly after ordering. Service was also on point with two or more people always checking in or looking over to see what we might need. This was an expensive dinner, but it felt well worth it. If you are in the mood for a higher end steak, give it a try. I would suggest getting there a bit earlier if you have an early (5-6pm) reservation to buffer the elevator wait time. Great way to start an evening of drinking and music.

Beautiful restaurant from the atmosphere to the drinks, food, and finally service, everything was top notch! Bourbon sits on top of the Marriott so before or after dinner you can sit by the fireplace down on the first floor and relax. I love how they give you a choice for each drink featured. You can go with traditional or go rebellious. This is where they take the original recipe and kick it up a bit. Love the three different flavors of French fries and sauces they bring out in lieu of bread. I do wish they had of brought us two sets since there were four of us but I'm sure they would have if I had of asked. The char on the filet and the scallops were some of the best I've ever had! The carrots were tender and the macaroni and cheese was spectacular. We loved the Crème Brûlée and the Warm Beignets and dipping sauce are a must!! Valet is also included which was a nice surprise. This is a first class restaurant and definitely a truly lovely experience!

This is a late review, as we came here on the evening of 01/23/2023. Before we came, my husband met with the manager and asked him to ensure his purchased gifts were brought out with the appetizer, main course, and dessert. We arrived and were greeted by the hostess. The hostess took us immediately over to the table, and we had a happy anniversary card signed by the staff. The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and was prompt with the service. To say that the food was beyond expectations is and was an understatement. The service exceeded all our expectations, including the view. If you want a phenomenal night out with fantastic service, great food, and an amazing view, this is the place to visit.

Bourbon Steak, worth it! This restaurant has more to offer than just good food. Make sure to make reservations ahead of time. Easy to do online. We had a request for our reservation and we're unsure if it could be accommodated. The day of our reservation, the lovely hostess called us and accommodated our request. So kind! Ambiance, the view is an added bonus. There is a beautiful elegance to this restaurant. Service, Todd was our server. Our food was excellent and Todd offered information on the menu which was very helpful. We ended up getting things to share, which allowed us to taste a little of everything. We ordered both tar tarred, while I don't eat they, everyone else spoke highly of it. The apple salad presentation and flavor was beautiful, enough for one person. The sea bass was exceptional. The crisp on the top had the most perfect texture while the fish melted in your mouth. The 22 oz dry aged ribeye always cooked just right. So tender, full of flavor. For the sides, highly recommend it all, but especially the Mac and cheese and the fried rice (has a little kick to it). For dessert we ended with coffee and cinnamon sugar beignets. The salted caramel, pudding is a must to try!

We did have an early reservation so they were ready to go, but our water glasses never got below half full/empty. And every course that came out was explained very well and dialogue continued through the course of the evening. Tons of awesome staff on hand and they did a great job. The food was fantastic. I had trout and my 2 coworkers had different steaks which they let me try and they were really good. We also had apps and dessert...all really good. I go out to eat for the service, which I don't have at home and they nailed the excellent service here. I can cook a good steak at home with a raw oyster appetizer, but if I don't have the service to back it up it doesn't make it a 5 star dinner. Well done and I'll be back with customers next time I'm in Nashville.

My friends and I visited Nashville for 5 days and with the exception of this establishment had amazing service with our meals. Based on the other reviews I though it deserved another opportunity. I've been back five more timeson different trips and found the service is hit or miss, and the food is 7 or 8/10 for most dishes. The view is amazing. If you're a visitor to Nashville, at least have a drink at the bar to enjoy the view for a few minutes.

It's over-priced and over-rated. It's a good thing they aren't in direct competition with steak houses from NY or Los Angeles, because they would lose, hands down. They get an A for effort, but they fall short. However, that doesn't stop them from charging 5 star prices for their 3 star dining. Went twice during my week long stay at the JW Marriott. All I can say is, I wish I would've went to Jeff Ruby's instead.

It is ridiculously expensive, but you get what you pay for. It offers the best view of Nashville I have ever seen anywhere in the city. The food is absolutely unbelievable--almost indescribable. Outstanding!!!! Don't know what to say about some of those negative reviews but we had a great time. Katrina was our server and from the beginning to the end was on point, sharp and was very patient as we were celebrating my Sisters Bday. They start you off with some fresh fries with 3 dipping sauces....that already grabbed our attention as it wasn't the bread & butter that many restaurants give out. We started with some apps...burrata, Caesar salad and crab Mac and cheese...the only complaint was the Mac and cheese was very salty and hardly any crab. I don't understand why restaurants sell crab or lobster Mac when they are going to skimp on the ingredient. Regardless, Katrina was nice enough to take it off the bill. We also got some of the creative cocktails...a tequila based old fashion....damn that was a twist and so damn good!!. As for mains, we got the trout which was soft, fresh, delicious. Also, the pastrami short rib which was really good and had that perfect seasoning. As for steaks we got 2 of the 100 day aged ribeyes.....man I was eating like a Barbarian. Very flavorful, perfectly cooked. As for sides we did mushrooms, broccoli rabe and the fried rice. The sides i have had better and the fried rice was pretty hard which when I told Katrina she happily took it off. Desserts we did the banana tart and the beignets along with a scoop of ice cream the folks brought out for the bday. One thing....when I made the reservation the person on the phone wasn't very professional nor were they listening to my request. Regardless, the management team was aware and were apologetic and made our night perfect. Btw---the view is outstanding and on the 34th floor of JW Marriot which made the occasion even better. Thank Bourbon Team for making it a perfect night!

Food, drinks, view, service, ambiance - 10/10. The fry flight was such an awesome start. I got the pan roasted Chilean sea bass and crave it so frequently. And I'm not a huge fish person. My husband got the Waygu Filet and cleared his plate. We got sides of Black Truffle Mac and street corn. One side would have been plenty for us and if you only get one- DO NOT skip the mac and cheese. Street corn was just alright. Make reservations far in advance. Especially for a weekend at prime time.

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
