Loved, loved, loved this place! We had brunch here right when they opened at 11:30 am. The service was good and fast and the food was super delicious! Our son ordered their toast (light eater), my wife had the petite omelette and I had the egg sandwich. The sandwich was the best breakfast sandwich I have ever eaten. All of the flavors were amazing. We'd highly recommend this spot and can't wait to get back.

THEY PUNCHED MY BURGER??? jk but I got the popular burger that everyone recommends but I was served a weird little burger with a flat bun and doesn't come with fries. Flavorless but for some reason tangy. My friend got a bland chicken with hard as stone potatoes. As soon as we sat down host tells us they have the table reserved for later making us feel rushed. I don't see the point in telling us like that. Other places have a sign saying that there is a limited dining time or just wouldn't seat you if the table was booked. Service was ok and drinks were nice and strong. Pretty outside seating. I would go again if I just wanted a drink.

Was finally able to score a reservation here for dinner tonight, so I came for an early meal after work. We started with a couple of Hugo spritzes which were so delicious and refreshing! We shared the charred broccoli to start and each ordered the burger and shared fries. The broccoli was good but was a tad crunchy, but the whipped feta dip underneath with the hot oil was yummy. There is a lot of hype around this burger, and it was good but I've definitely had better in the city. The sauce is delicious, and the patty itself was cooked to perfection, but the bun was different. The service was great, and the inside is super cute too. I'm not racing to come back, but I would never turn down the opportunity!

Saw someone else write that Fairfax manages to marry chic and relaxed perfectly and that is SOOOO spot on. It is both elegant and elevated in its general disposition, yet relaxed and down-to-earth in its endless decor and artwork. I went here for breakfast and now want to try every meal here. I got 2 eggs scrambled with avocado and an iced coffee - all perfect.

I never write yelp reviews, but Fairfax is too good for me to not say something. The staff is attentive and warm, the food is on point every time, the drinks are great, and to top it all off, stopping in always feels like coming home. It's a fantastic place for a date or to catch up with friends. Always at the top of my recommendations.
We came in a few weeks ago.
It was as amazing as ever! A huge part of the experience was Alison- our server. She ensured we had the best service ever! I have a very particular order for my burger- she made sure to get it right and also ensured the tots was piping hot.. so appreciated. Just a lovely attitude and disposition.. SO grateful. We will be back soon for another amazing experience... thank you Alison!

Burger was great, unique flavors and cooked perfectly, mortadella was great, the bread was amazing. Service was friendly and quick. Nice selection of cocktails as well. Can get busy and is a small place so be sure to make a reservation or get here before the usual dinner rush. Will be coming back for sure.

such great food! the service was great, the waitress helped suggest a good red wine to pair with the burger (which was superb!). also helped me decide between fries and tater tots (made the right choice with the fries). overall, such a good monday post class meal!
Fairfax is a great go-to.
The ambiance is cozy and inviting. I love the bar set up if I can get a seat. The martini was vermouth heavy. The orange wine was good. The old bay tots were yummy, an easy share.
Had to try THE burger because just look at it.
That being said, I actually liked the flat bread over a poofy bun. The bbq mayo, crispy potato thins, and pickled cukes made for a satisfying bite - but not enough to finish the entire burger. Standard calamari, fun cocktails, and overall cool vibes.

Definitely got lucky by getting a table without a reservation! Table was unfortunately by the door so it was a bit cold throughout the whole meal. It would've been a 45 minute wait for a table. Some people were crazy enough to sit outside in the cold! Their outdoor huts looked really cute but not sure how warm it was inside of them. We shared the omelette, burger and side of tots. The tots were so good! Nice and crispy! You get a huge bowl of them that several people could share. The omelette was with goat cheese and Brussel sprouts. There were shavings of the sprouts on top of the omelette but not inside, just lots of cheese inside. We added an over easy egg to the burger and it was a gooey, delicious mess! In hindsight though we realized we couldn't even tell if the burger was good because its flavor was hidden by all the toppings. My friend thought the sauce on it made it taste like a Burger King burger. Overall the meal with a coffee came to about $50. Drinks will definitely make your meal pricier. I think a Bloody Mary or mimosa was about $17 and they were served in very small glasses! The decor is very country. I felt like I could be in the Catskills.

I will likely come back and try it medium well, because honestly this was kind of nasty. Flavors were great, just undercooked. Basically rare in the middle. Literally uncooked. We heard that the Fairfax has the best burger around, so we had to give it a try. The burger lived up to the hype! It was absolutely perfect.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
