Joe's Stone Crab Restaurant Miami Beach Reviews from The Last Year
Joe's Stone Crab is (obviously) a Miami institution, really
Joe's Stone Crab is (obviously) a Miami institution, really hard to knock it. The fact that you can get fresh tasting Stone Crab year round, and now make reservations is a huge plus, the former being my only real reason to go and only off season. With that said, according to my mom who started going there in the 70's, the original recipes and cooking methods have not been preserved. She and my dad were once given a tour of the kitchen and shown how they prepare the Lyonnaise. It was cooked inside a cast iron skillet, with another skillet pressing the potatoes and onions down to flatten and get a nice even crust on the bottom, then flipped and repeated. The Lyonnaise we had last week had little to no onion or crust and was more like a pile of chunky mashed potatoes. The creamed spinach was very dull and bland tasting and looking, the fried green tomatoes are an excellent portion size, but sliced too thick leaving them undercooked inside and breading has little flavor. The rack of lamb was good, but I've definitely had better, the sauce that came with was a miss, like a guava bbq, and the plate came with a garnish of two pieces of raw white onion (weird if not Indian style lamb) and sprigs of fresh Rosemary were on many plates, which is a huge waste of money if you ask me. Inedible garnishes are never prudent. Ditch the Rosemary and raw onion, reduce the Fried Green Tomato portion and then cut back the price on the King Crab, $174 for 1.5 lbs. I know it's Sobe, I know there's inflation, I know it's an "upscale" place and ballers like to ball, but that's just redonkulous. $30 a lb. at Whole Foods on sale and they actually look bigger... And while I'm all for tradition, some updating of the chairs would be nice, rather uncomfortable to sit in for a 2 hour meal.
Best experience in South Beach we had recently.
Amazing service and food. Great atmosphere and ambiance. I can't wait to come back.
Beautiful location.
The staff provides good service however everything feels very fast paced (that may be by design but I'm not sure). The food is good, the hash browned potatoes were my favorite item.
This spot kept coming up in searches for seafood in South
This spot kept coming up in searches for seafood in South Beach so my friend and I gave it a go on our recent weekend visit. I do feel we fell deep into a tourist trap. The artichoke crab dip was very cream cheese heavy with no discernible flavor. My friend ordered the crab cakes which were okay but not worth the cost and I ordered the seafood trio, which was 85 dollars and came with 3 shrimp, one king crab leg broken into 3 pieces and 3 stone crab claws that were inedible due to their ice flavor. The crab claws were pre cracked into oblivion, so I was taking small pieces of shell out of my mouth while the king crab was under cracked - I asked for a cracker and received one with some reluctance. Service was very nice and extensive wine list but my goodness what terrible and expensive food. Live and learn!
Just My favourite seafood restaurant.
Cant go wrong with anything from this place. Excellent fresh food and service is the top. Stone crabs are amazing, mussels in the sauce is my favourite as well, oysters excellent and fresh quality. Pricey but absolutely Worth the price. If you are looking for quality over quantity- then this is the place to go.
Not a great one at all
First of all we are desibel about the quality of the food, specially the crabs, the very high prices are not congruent to the service and bad quality of the food, Joe’s is not the same Joe’s anymore
I moved to FL in 1972, and have enjoyed going to Joe's
I moved to FL in 1972, and have enjoyed going to Joe's every since. Sadly, I am not a stone crab person, but everyone I know is. What people may NOT know about Joe's is that their fried chicken is excellent and, if you are budget minded, costs less than KFC for the same order. The chicken is cooked perfectly, not overly seasoned so you can add to your specific taste, and is WAY more in one order (1/2 chicken) than I can eat these days. SO, I get to take some home to enjoy later. Some people order the chicken as an appetizer before enjoying their stone crabs, which makes some sense. For me, it is what I have been ordering all along, If you love stone crabs, Joe's is the place. If you do not, you have the opportunity to enjoy superb fried chicken and, when the check comes, you win again!
A must have in south beach! The south beach location is
A must have in south beach! The south beach location is the original spot. Joe's has been a must see for decades. Although there are other locations of Joe's, I only go when I'm in SoBe. We had great service from the moment we walked up to the front doors. My husband and I love the interior. It reminds me of a couple places back home that are hometown staples. We split the stuffies for an appetizer (awesome if you like clams!). We wanted to try a few different things so we split the fried chicken (hear me out - a MUST), the scallops, and the lobster Mac and cheese. Delicious! I would not change anything. And of course for dessert we had their homemade key lime pie. Do not skip it!! Thank you all who made our experience a great one! Especially to Thomas!
Not queer friendly.
We were turned away because we weren't wearing sleeves. Meanwhile many women were there and not wearing sleeves.
Really great stone crab.
It looks like a small amount, but it's way more than you'd expect.
Joe's Stone Crab, located at the southern tip of South
Joe's Stone Crab, located at the southern tip of South Beach, Miami, truly lives up to its iconic status. Just a short stroll from the picturesque South Pointe Park, this establishment offers more than just exceptional stone crab--it delivers an unforgettable dining experience marked by superb food and impeccable service. Ambiance: Upon entering Joe's Stone Crab, you are immediately immersed in an ambiance that exudes classic charm and history. The interior is spacious, adorned with décor that pays homage to the restaurant's storied past. There's also a charming garden/patio area with a fountain. The orchestration of service here is a spectacle in itself, akin to a well-choreographed performance. Food: While the restaurant is renowned for its stone crab, my meal was filled with surprising delights. Here's what I had: 1. New England Clam Chowder ($12.95): This clam chowder is nothing short of spectacular. It's the best I've ever tasted, with a rich, creamy base that manages to remain light and indulgent simultaneously. The clams were generously portioned, tender, and sweet. The kitchen thoughtfully split our soup into two servings for our party of two. 2. Fried 1/2 Chicken ($8.95): The fried chicken at Joe's is a hidden gem. The crust is a masterpiece of umami flavor, crisp, and addictive, while the meat, though slightly bland, is elevated by the crust. It's arguably the best fried chicken I've had, and at an incredibly reasonable price. 3. Joe's Classic Meal, Large ($114.95) This classic meal is a feast. It includes: - Stone Crab Claws: 5 large claws that, while good, didn't steal the show compared to the other components. - Coleslaw: A fresh, tangy side that pairs well with the rich dishes. - Hash Brown Potatoes: Crispy and satisfying. - Creamed Spinach: A standout, deliciously creamy. - Key Lime Pie: This was the highlight of the meal. The BEST KEY LIME PIE I've ever tasted, with a perfectly balanced crust and rich filling. 4. Assortment of Breads (free): A delightful array of five types of fresh breads, including flatbread crackers, pretzel bread, raisin bread, egg roll, and two types of pumpernickel bread. I've never seen such a variety of high-quality bread that was complimentary. Service: The service at Joe's is exceptional, defined by professionalism, knowledge, and warmth. Our server didn't bring all our food at once - he ensured we finished our soup and fried chicken before bringing out the classic meal. Our server placed the bibs on us for the stone crab claws and took photos. After we finished the stone crab, we were given a warm towel and lime-scented water to clean our hands. The seamless coordination and attention to detail among the staff was impressive. Parking: Valet parking is available, providing a convenient start to your visit. Overall, Joe's Stone Crab is more than just a meal; it's an experience. The combination of outstanding food, particularly the clam chowder, fried chicken, and key lime pie, coupled with attentive and professional service, makes it a must-visit. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this restaurant offers a slice of Miami's culinary heritage that should not be missed.
Large classic meal
I didn't get to try Joe's Stone Crab the first time I was in Miami, so I definitely wanted to check it out this time. In fact, it was our first meal after landing. I made a reservation for a Sunday at 11:30 AM, which is when they open. I noticed that you have to put a cc hold for dinner times, but it didn't ask for one during brunch/lunch hours. When we got there, there weren't too many tables dining yet since it was still early. People slowly started to trickle in around 12. To start, they bring you a basket of assorted bread. There were five different kinds, and we tried them all. Actually, we ate most of them because they were that good. Every single piece was soft and buttery, a pillow of doughy goodness. For food, Hubby and I shared the Large Classic Meal ($114.95), which includes a full order of stone crabs, individual coleslaw, hash brown potatoes, creamed spinach, and a slide of key lime pie. The size you choose represents the size of the claws. The large came with five claws that were pretty meaty. They come pre-cracked and with a side of butter, and their signature mustard sauce. I preferred it with just the butter. It would have been nice with a lemon, but they serve the crabs with lime here. I hated the coleslaw. It's mixed and topped with relish, which made it way too sour. The hash brown potatoes were so good. It was perfectly crispy on top and soft on the bottom. You really can't go wrong with hash browns I guess. The creamed spinach was fine. The key lime pie was very nice. I appreciated that they sliced the slice in half, so we each got our own portion. I would say Joe's is definitely a place to try once while you're in Miami because it ain't cheap. I guess because stone crab claws are just expensive in general. We weren't that full afterwards, but our goal was really just to try out the crabs. But like my Mama always says - "what you pay is what you get" and the service sure was impeccable. They were very attentive but not annoyingly so, and paid attention to all the minor details (i.e. separate bowl for claws, brushing away the crumbs before dessert arrived, your water glass never going empty). Overall, we had a great experience.
The best stone crab
Joe's Stone Crab has the best stone crab in the world. My family and I always make it a point to eat at Joe's at least once per year.
Joe's is Excellent
A trip to Miami isn't complete for us until we eat at Joe's. Being a Miami native I have been going there since I was young. We like a late lunch as it is not crowded. We each had an order of large stone crabs with lyonnaise potatoes. We never get appetizers as that is a lot to eat. The stone crabs were expensive, $85.00 an order. We spent $275.00 with tax and tip, one side of potatoes and 2 desserts. no appetizers or drinks, just water. We felt it was worth it. Key Lime Pie that they are famous for never disappoints. My husband had a huge dish of ice cream, easily shareable with whipped cream. Service with Jordan was excellent. He even held the plate of stone crabs in one hand and took our picture with the other. Never had anyone in all the times we have been to Joe do that. This restaurant is a true Miami treasure. It's been there over 100 years
Seafood lover paradise
Great dining experience overall. Service and food were excellent. Had my King crab, stone crab and cocktail shrimp trio and started with a Caesar salad. So good! Will go repeat when back in Miami Beach
Top 5 meals ever
This place has been on my bucket list for a long time!! It did not disappoint. Of course, the Stone crabs were fantastic, and they should be. They were very costly. I was with my family a party of six. So I was able yo try many dishes and everyone was excellent. The blackened Mahi Mahi was a stand out, and so were hash browned potatoes as a side. A cool thing to order as a sharing plate was the 1/2 fried chicken. It was so tasty and only $8.95. Same price since the 80s. Almost forgot the crab dip was soooo good a must!!
The Joes Specialty seafood boil.
It was the perfect amount of mussels to clams to corn you name it! The meat in the claws was very good size. The bisque was buttery that I ended up dipping the wide spread of assorted breads they give you when you're first seated. Very reasonably priced as well! $60 per bowl.
OMG! I do love Joe's Stone Crab and make it a must every
OMG! I do love Joe's Stone Crab and make it a must every time we are going to be in South Florida. Reservations are recommended and I note my calendar to make those 60 days out. Just an FYI. The place is busy, parking is crazy so I suggest an Uber, the bar is fun while you wait for your table, it's loud but it's so much fun and the food is amazing! You get delicious bread and butter to start. We always get several pounds of the stone crab claws, a salad, and the hubby likes fresh fries too. Add wine and beer and it's a dinner to die for. A must if you like good stone crabs!
I have been a loyal patron of Joe's Stone Crab in Miami for
I have been a loyal patron of Joe's Stone Crab in Miami for some time now, and it never fails to impress. Known for serving the best stone crab in town, Joe's also offers a diverse menu. What sets Joe's apart is not only the quality of their food but also the convenience of their take-away options. Whether enjoying lunch at home or in the office, their take-away service makes it easy to savor their delectable dishes wherever you are. The atmosphere is old-school chic and the servers know the menu like the back of their hand. One of the reasons I keep coming back to Joe's is our Easter tradition. It has become a cherished annual ritual to celebrate the holiday with a meal at Joe's, creating lasting memories with loved ones. In conclusion, Joe's Stone Crab in Miami is a must-visit for anyone craving top-notch stone crab, tasty hot dogs, and irresistible mac and cheese. Their take-away service and tradition-friendly atmosphere make it a standout dining destination in the city.
So many late reviews!! This was a special one.
My grandmother's 75th birthday. We made a reservation for a restaurant whose line was down the block. That restaurant was Joe's Stone Crab. Our server who was a good friend of my father's got us a hook-up. For the amount of food you receive, the price is not a big deal. I had ordered the Seafood Paella and everything in that tasted amazing. The saffron infused rice was salty and rich. Every bite had me coming back for more. Thank you for an amazing experience here! -Jacob Moore
My FAVORITE restaurant of ALL TIME!! Since the 1920's,
My FAVORITE restaurant of ALL TIME!! Since the 1920's, Joe's has been the classic Miami place to have an elegant and festive dinner Miami style! From the easy valet parking, wonderfully cool winky greeting from the Miami Maitre D, add the perfect key lime martini with graham cracker rim in the comfy bar booth seating, and then...they show you to your lovely dining room table! It's white glove service all the way. Oooh the tasty OG table bread, and then the star of the show: Sweet heavenly sustainably sourced Florida stone crab with Joe's proprietary magical mustard sauce!! Yay!! Pick your sides, I like the creamed spinach & some type of potato side. You cannot go wrong, it's just a matter of taste! Ahhh Joe's, every night should be you. Totally worth moving back to my hometown, Miami. You're a heartbreaker!
TLDR: A truly classic Miami staple, Joe's is the oldest
TLDR: A truly classic Miami staple, Joe's is the oldest eating house on Miami Beach. This is a place you go to for the food but don't expect too much from the ambiance of the main dining area. I'd say come for the staples (king crab, stone crab, and key lime pie) but you can skip the rest. Great service. ------ FOOD: 1. [MUST TRY] King Crab (5/5): Expensive but delicious. Everyone gets a container of melted butter in which to dip the crab 2. [MUST TRY] Fried Chicken (5/5): Actually some of the best fried chicken I've had, and I'm surprised it came from a crab place! 3. [MUST TRY] Key Lime Pie (5/5): Delicious, no frills key lime pie that wasn't too sweet or too sour, which are usually my qualms with key lime pie. Seriously, just get a slice here, you won't regret it. 4. Calamari (4.5/5): Addicting, really solid 5. Stone Crab (4/5): Hot take, I preferred the King Crab legs over the stone crab. The stone crab claws can be a bit hard to eat since you have to peel the shells off, but surprisingly the shells here were softer than most crab shells I've dealt with so it wasn't as hard as it could have been. Lots of meat in the claws. Comes with a horseradish-like dipping sauce. ------ AMBIANCE / ENVIRONMENT: * I feel like you come to Joe's for the food, not the aesthetic or vibes * We sat in the main dining room and the ambiance was giving... bright overhead lighting in an old cafeteria? * Definitely not a "nice" sit-down meal vibes wise and our table was too small for the amount of food we had * If you're not a fan of crab, fried chicken, or key lime pie, the ambiance here definitely won't be making your experience any better ------ SERVICE: * Great service. Our waiter felt like he was our guy by the end of the meal. This is the kind of place where if you get on the staff's good side, you'll be taken care of very well * They were attentive about clearing our table consistently and one of the guys even made sure I remembered to put my rings back on after I took them off to eat the crab! * Random, but we asked the Maitre D to take a photo of our group on the way out and he literally lifted the phone for just enough seconds to take a single photo of our group. He could not care less about taking this photo for us haha.
As wonderful as always.
Yogi took great care of us. Everything we had was delicious. The ambience is as special as it always is.
Food was pricey for one.
No sides included with the entrees. Potato side was overly greasy and wedge salad was fine. But to the restaurants credit, the cod was super good. I would rate a 3.5 for a lackluster experience but the service and history in this place are top notch.
The selection of sea food was a nice variety.
The stone crabs were delicious and the sweet potatoes fries were sprinkled with cinnamon and they were very tasty. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting. The key lime pie was absolutely amazing. It was a great night at Joes Stone Crab. Definitely looking forward to returning there!!

The staff is 10/ 10!! Everyone plays an essential role in making your time there feel extraordinary. We had one of the gentlemen put the bib on us so we didn't get dirty while eating seafood and made the process, enjoyable. We ordered crab legs, the fried chicken, a meat option, the coconut shrimp and the lobster roll. Then for dessert, we had a mango sorbet, which was phenomenal. It tasted so fresh and delicious. Overall, we had a wonderful time for lunch, and will definitely return soon!
Service is Amazing those gentleman are amazingly nice.
Stone crabs were delicious, oysters were great and sides and desserts were out of this world. I Recommend their famous fried chicken.
Dissapointing
Actually started good In the bar. We were Looking forward to the Dinner. But when we came In, we were placed In a room Behind the restaurant. We Don’t eat out just for the food, but also for the atmosphere In the restaurant- and there were …,,none. Anorher party came of 15 pax. And they totalt forgot about ud, we had to pour our own botle of Wine. We have experinced better service In the local Diners on the Highway.
Joe’ stone crab
So apparently when we visited today the main dining area is closed and we are just on a layover visit(see my image for opening days and hours)but good thing on the other side they have takeaway style but has tables for dine-in experience. The stone crab meat was sooo good paired with their own sauce! No wonder why they are no. 26 out of 150 legendary restaurants in the world on tasteatlas. My crabmeat sandwich was also great! They accept credit/debit. Street parking.
a must stop on Miami Beach
what a place! I have heard about this place from friends who love the fish sandwich, so we had to try it. I am the odd one out that I dont like fish, but hear me out! My wife doesn't often get to eat fish unless we eat out so I knew this place also does a good burger. We ordered from the take away side so we could eat by the marina and I would definitely recommend this to everyone ! We ordered 3 mahi mahi sandwiches and a burger and all were awesome! The pickle in the bag was really good also, although a little pricier than other places the food isn't rivalled anywhere around.
Since 1914 and still awesome!
Such an amazing experience! This is a perfect representation of a restaurant your grandparents went to as young people if they could have afforded it. Same quality and service! Loved it so much. We had the stone crabs, a chopped salad and the coconut shrimp. Delicious!!! We also had the conch fritters but didn’t like those as they were gooey and chewy. We did enjoy the key lime pie! Not too sweet.
Second time, not as good
This was our second visit to Joes as the experience is old world Miami Beach at its best. Our large stone crabs were not as good as last time - they were stringy and hard to eat, which is odd. The Moscow mule, warm bread, Lyonnaise potatoes, creamed spinach, were very good and the key lime pie was the highlight. I will say our waitress was outstanding. Her recommendations were right on to avoid ordering too much food.
Impressive scaled seafood restaurant with a focus on crabs.
Impressive scaled seafood restaurant with a focus on crabs. Tried the crab bisque and crab cake sandwhich. Next time I need to try the crab right in the shell and see if it is all cracked up to be. Since we had the take away I can’t really say how the service is. The ambience as I side was large crowded dining in big open area. Great for family and gatherings I’d imagine.
Does not live up to the reputation.
January 24th 2024. This dining experience was like going to Disneyland. If you want a quiet romantic evening this is not the place for you. There are literally hundreds of people all eating at this restaurant at the same time. This unfortunately translates first into not being seated at your reservation time. Next, once called for your table standing in a not very organized line in the entry lobby waiting for various staff members to pick you out from the head of the line (not necessarily in order) before being led to your table. Winding your way through a variety of rooms packed to complete capacity and with conversation volume throughout the entire restaurant so loud once seated, it's difficult to hear anything your companion may have to say. This was on a very ordinary "no-holiday" Wednesday evening not even a weekend. We had an order of large stone crab claws ($84.95) which the menu states are served "chilled". They actually appeared to have been frozen and seemed to be in the process of defrosting when served to us. The waiter's attitude was quite condescending, and not at all solicitous which you would expect from a restaurant with such a reputation. I unfortunately had fond memories from a visit many years ago before the huge jump in scale this restaurant has progressed to. I will not be visiting again.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!

So glad I came across this app :)
Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here
Prime time, great meal

Got impossible NYC res
instead of waiting weeks I got my 4 charles reservation instantly

perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??
Tune into NBC News - Top Story Tonight 7:40p ET
Let’s go. Get more people placing bids!
I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
