I'm only giving this four stars because although it's a nice place and a great spot for a good date with incredible food, the "date spot" table for two would be against the booths that would be nicer if you literally weren't within earshot of the couple next to you. Given, we're in Miami and you can hear a lot of chisme...but I don't want that ALL the time and it was honestly kind of uncomfortable. The drinks are fantastic. Lemon pasta and pesto pasta are a great light pasta option that you and your date can go half and half on and their focaccia is TOP NOTCH.

I couldn't hear the waitress while suggesting menu items. It was unexpectedly loud. Small nice intimate space but not inviting to have any conversation per se while eating. The appetizers were tasty, olives- mortadella toast- patate. The drinks were ok, but I'd suggest wine or beer instead. The Fra Diavlo had good flavor and textures, but the temperature was off. All in all, it did not feel made to order. I am never interested in squeezing lime or lemon to my pasta dish. I would have definitely decorated the pasta dish with a basil leaf or something more relative to the dish. I think I was more excited about going as the instagram feeds lured me in. Did not meet my expectations.

As you all know here, as a foodie, I am willing to pay for the food, experience and service. Yet yesterday I was completely INSULTED and SHAMED right after I had completed my meal. This was my 3rd time going and was showing the place for the first time to business partner. As I payed around $220 for a meal for two (we both consumed 3 drink, 2 apps and 2 pastas), I decided to leave a tip that was not one to their likeness since I left something else other than the options they give you, which is 30%,25%,21% and 20%. The waiter Francesco, after seeing this, turn back to my table and in a loud tone, asked me in front of my business partner and with tables around us hearing, what was wrong with the service. To this I answered that nothing was wrong, to which he rolled his eyes at me and showed me the tablet in which I payed and said, clearly something was wrong, in which I insisted nothing was wrong, and the table next to us even noticed and he stormed away. Sadly I will not returning to this place and obviously wouldn't even recommend, and will share my story as long as people ask me about this place. Hope this never happens to any of you in this or any other place.

The food is super tasty and fresh. My whole party likes all of their dishes. I recommend getting some antipasti and a few pastas to share so you can try as many things as possible.The service was really attentive, and the ambiance is very nice. The outside seating is especially nice!

The drinks are such a delight no matter which one you order. The mortadella toast was a good surprise and all of the pasta selections are a win. I really miss the carpaccio and radicchio salad. date night or a group of friends they are accommodating for all.

Whenever my wife and I travel, no matter where or when, we always have to book a reservation at an Italian restaurant, just to see how other cities compare to what us snobs in Chicago think if great Italian cooking. Growing up in a house where her grandmother and mother ruled the roost in the kitchen, my half-Italian wife loves to sample spaghetti, lasagna, risotto, ravioli, pizza, pasta and Osso Bucco all over the country. Me, too. And I grew up in a home where my father loved to make spaghetti with his own recipe. So we had to sample the goods at Luca Osteria in Coral Gables, Florida, which has a reputation as the best Italian ristorante in Miami. Is that an oxymoron? Italian cooking in Miami? No, Luca Osteria is serious Italian cooking. Located at 116 Giralda Avenue, a pedestrian-only street, it is open from 5:30 to 10 Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and 5:30 to 11 on Friday and Saturday. We started with marinated olives, prosciutto and panzanella, a chopped salad with heirloom tomatoes, olive oil croutons, green basil, dijon mustard, red wine vinaigrette and sourdough bread. For an entree, my wife chose a Nieman Ranch Farms lamb shank, allowing 40 minutes to prepare, with roasted potatoes, red wine, crispy herbs and pumpkin seeds. It was worth the wait. Meanwhile, I opted for a 10-ounce prime beef tenderloin with potato fritte and vino rosso. For dessert, we shared tiramisu and vanilla panna cotta. If Luca Osteria isn't the best Italian restaurant in Miami, it has to be in the conversation.

The service was great, the drinks had been A+. Yes I waited a bit for my food... but if the pasta is coming undercooked.. then we have an issue. I saw it in other reviews and it sucks, that they let the simplest things destroy a great place. The execution always matters

Good service and nice outdoor seating on a pedestrian-only street lined with retail shops and other restaurants. Portions are enormous and delicious sauces but it was almost too much e.g. glazed carrots w/ sauce and huge amts of grated parm cheese on the little gem salad. I think they could use a lighter touch. The focaccia was wonderful but disappointed in the house wine- should've ordered a bottle or something else. We would go back if in the area again- overall, a good option.

AMAZING. I had the best espresso martini of my life. The people at the bar here are incredible. They were real deal mixologists. The service from our bartender was incredible-- so nice, explained everything, and wasn't overbearing. We loved the tuna caprese. More upscale environment with families and dates.

We had one of the best Italian dinners we’ve ever had . Very high end, creative chef and lovely dishes coming out of the kitchen. We ate outside at a nice kind of secluded table. Very nice wine list at reasonable prices. Servings large and some dishes easily shareable. Everyone wanted to try each other’s. Each one different from many we’ve had before. On a nice pedestrian walk area. Kind of pricey but we never worry about that if value and food top end, excellent service too.

Every time we have a guests from ouof town we always take them to Luca Osteria, the food is delicious and consistent. And of course service by Kevin is Amazing. Starting from the Hoastess Shellys Martinez and Maya to our Favorite server Kevin the service is exceptionally amazing. Once you try the food you would want to go Every week.

Best pasta ever. I have been in Italy many times but the pasta of Osteria Luca is the best I have ever had. Specially the pasta caccio e Pepe is excellent. Alsothe location in a very cosy, Southern Europe like street is perfect.

Hands down best Italian in Miami. There wasn't one dish we didn't enjoy. From the stracciatella with honey to the carpaccio, the potatoes, and don't even get me started with the lemon pasta. Just phenomenal!! Definitely coming back. Oh and save some room for dessert!! The tiramisu is to die for. You won't regret it!

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Best Answer Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
