amazing food and service!!! all the dishes were so delicious and creative, the nigiri is outstanding. better than Nobu by a long shot. the prices are up there but if you're willing to splurge it is completely worth it. definitely recommend and will hopefully be coming back.

If you love to be carried away by something truly special, this is the place. I tried all the sashimi variety on the menu, and I cannot help but be mesmerized.The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is just because the ambiance is not up to the food quality and creativity. For the price point, I find the interior design looks pretty cheap and quite plain.

If you have never been kicked out of a restaurant in your life ( like I haven't until tonight), Osaka is your place to feel embarrassed in front of friends or clients as it was my case. Reservations done for 4 people at 6:30 pm on a Wednesday, we got there at 6:35 and were immediately seated ( 2 out of 4 people). The other 2 were stuck in Brickell traffic so got there 6:45. In the 10 min gap until the 4 of us were there, the hostess and the manager came to the table to pressure us to start ordering, so to alleviate that uncomfortable situation we ordered drinks and appetizers so when the other 2 people came the drinks and appetizers were already there. While we were having the appetizers and drinks, the waiter came twice to ask us if we were ready to order "as their reservations are good for only 2 hours". We finally ordered our main courses, and some food came in 5 min while some came after 30 min, so completely disorganized. We were done with the food at precisely 8:27, so 3 min short to the 2 hours that we were constantly reminded by staff, which at that point was really annoying, especially being with a client that flew from London and we were hoping to have a nice dinner. Suddenly, the manager came to me out if the blue to say another group was already there, so to calm him I told him we were not doing desserts, and all we needed was coffees and the check. To everyone's complete surprise and awkwardness, what we heard was "there is no time for coffee, here is your (500 dollars) bill". Certainly one of the most embarrassing situations I have been in any restaurant in the world, and especially in a business meal. I've been to Osaka in Lima a few times, and up until tonight was one of my favorite places there, but thanks to the TERRIBLE experience at the Miami branch, there is a ZERO chance I'll ever step at any Osaka, and I'll share this in any way I can to the most people I can so hopefully others don't experience the humiliating situation that I was subject to.

This is one of the best restaurants I have been to! I had high expectations for Osaka and they surpassed them. Vibes. Vibes. Vibes. Perfect spot for a date + girls night out. FYI - A reserveraton is a must here! We started our night with the Clasico Ceviche and Tuna Tartar with Aji Amarillo Sauce. Both were very good and paired nicely with the Rosé our waiter recommended. I have to mention our waiter was very helpful, thoroughly went through the menu for us and recommended amazing dishes!Then came the Tuna Foie. This. Dish. The duck liver is seared right at the table and it literally melts in your mouth. This dish has gone down as one of my favorites - you cannot go to Osaka and not try this! I just wish for the price you'd get another piece or two but the quality of this dish is 100. As a main course we got the Niki Kabayaki American Wagyu Steak, which you get to cook yourself on a hot stone. This comes with fried potatoes and a delish dipping sauce. We also got the Umi Mechi Seafood Skillet Rice. This dish was generous - it came loaded with shrimp, maduros (sweet plantain), scallops, octopus and charred avocado. This is a good dish to share if you want to try multiple smaller dishes!We finished off with the Cacao Matcha dessert. Very decadent, but the Green Tea Ice Cream on top tones down the richness of the chocolate.

Special shout out to our server, Jas, for diligently guiding us through the menu. We recently moved from nyc and had been craving a good sushi spot but could not find anything until Osaka. The service, ambiance, food, entire dining experience, was second to none. A note on service: everyone was top notch professional from Jas - our server, the runners, the host. You could feel the passion from the team and that truly adds to the ambiance that makes Osaka so special. As far as the food, be prepared to want to reorder seconds of everything because it is mouth watering. I wish I could have taken photos of all the dishes but it was hard to resist devouring it asap

We looked at the menu before we got there to get an idea of what to order and not gonna lie we were a bit confused. Daniel explained the menu beautifully. From the salad and sushi to the short ribs we were thoroughly satisfied. Also the mark of a good meal is of the food tastes better the next day, all boxes checked. The customer service was awesome. My favorite cocktail of all times is ARASHI KURO, I can't even explain with words the flavors, just order it if you like rum and you won't regret it. The staff and service are amazing. If you are thinking about coming here don't think anymore and just make your reservation. Place is great. Ambience is great. Service is great and the food is just sooooo delicious. I would say around $150 per person if you are planing to have some drinks. I did not find it thaaaat expensive in comparison with some other places I've go before. When the money is worth the food I never regret it and always recommend it.

It was tough to get a reservation & we had to leave a credit card. Valet parking is available. We had a garden like table in the front of this unassuming restaurant. Restaurant is Japanese & Peruvian, this chain has 7 restaurants in South America, this is the only Osaka in the United States. Our waiter was very familiar with the menu, describing options & orchestrating our courses.Exceptional menu, beautiful restaurant, impeccable service ... very very memorable meal. Sake was delicious. Our Sushi was the best I've ever tasted, it did not need soy sauce. The 5 duck confit gyozas were unlike anything I've ever tasted, such unique flavors sitting in a plate of creamy orange sauce. The short rib melted in my mouth & tasted candy coated. The lava cake was incredible, hard fine chocolate with chocolate lava that poured out. Dinner was a wow!!!! Our dinner was a splurge! Why isn't Osaka #1?
