Great for kids, great for celiac

We were so grateful to find this restaurant! The whole menu is very gluten-friendly and the staff knows all about celiac, which was such a relief, as my 10-year-old has celiac. They have a kids' menu that felt comfortable to my 5- and 8-year-old loved after many meals of new foods they hadn't seen before. It was relaxing and the staff was very kind.

Nice trendy Italian restaurant

After our really bad exeperiance at Coco restaurant, the concierge at the Mandarin Orental recommended, and booked, LouLou for us. And he was right, we had a nice evening. Nice service and good food. One downside (but I'm very picky), they dont have good red wines by the glass (or half bottles). At the end, I found a wine, but in Paris I was craving for a nice Bordeaux (or at least a Brunello, considering LouLou is serving Italian cuisine).

I visited with my wife for dinner. The location is nice and the ambience is ok if not a bit boring. The food was hit and miss, some nice (not great) and some not so nice. Service was hit and miss too. Some were really helpful and others like they were really bored. If you have a few days in Paris I am sure that there are more interesting places to try.

We had fried calamari, grilled octopus, truffle pizza, truffle pasta, tiramisu and millefeuille. I loved everthing! Pasta was so so but everthing else were amazing! Desserts were 10/10!

Food is okay. Service needs improvement. We ordered wine and cocktails which never showed up yet we were charged for them. Check your bill. I would go for the experience but be aware of what you'll encounter.

Upscale dining spot which, depending on your seating arrangements, offers views of the gardens and the Eiffel Tower in the distance. We had a pleasant lunch that contrasted greatly with the heavily tourist-y cafes nearby. The wait staff was kind and pleasant, and spoke impeccable English. Our lunch consisted of 2 pizzas and a salad. Everything was delicious. I would not make this a daily ritual but since we were on vacation, it felt good to splurge on a gourmet experience. Dinner at sundown must be amazing here, as we have enjoyed the sunsets on the lawn nearby. Stick around until 9pm and witness the light show on the Eiffel Tower in the distance.

Perfect setting, great food, and fantastic service. I booked to have the last dinner of our Paris trip here because Thursday is the only night the Musée des Arts Décoratifs opens later in the evening so I can see the Elsa Schiaparelli exhibit before dinner here. The setting cannot be more romantic, around sunset in the Jardin Tuileries. The tents and tables in white just complements the setting so beautifully. The quality of the food and service greatly surpassed our expectations. We will come again the next time we are in Paris.

Before my trip to Paris, I heard so many good things from others and online. The reservation was hard to get, which got me even more excited. The view was great and it was in a beautiful location. The service was horrible. Very slow, and one of the servers actually took a few bites of food before serving it (at a different table), and they had to send it back. This is something I would never have expected from a. Restaurant of this caliber. The food was good, but not great. I had much better food at other places in Paris, and at a lower price tag. I enjoyed the pesto pasta the most, I would recommend trying that. I would recommend trying somewhere else before LouLou, not to mention it will be easier to get a table somewhere else. You can find better food and better service relatively easily in Paris.

Terrible service. While they did kindly seat us at the bar for lunch without a reservation, not a single server or bartender made any contact with us for a good 15 minutes. We walked out.

Lovely setting and delicious meal (pistachio pesto linguini, Burrata and peaches, special fish of the evening with frites, dessert cream puffs with chocolate sauce) service was great until the server actually followed my husband out to harangue him for a tip (he had tipped already which is not always necessary in Paris but at a lovely establishment it's the right thing) the server asked for more!! BAD FORM and most likely would never had happened if we were French. Furthermore server insisted we order a dessert even though we said we didn't want one as we were quite full, (it was my birthday) so he "could have a reason to bring us out a sparkler" . But unlike in other places when there is a celebration it was not complimentary. Happy to buy myself a dessert but I didn't want one, and his insistence then charge was inappropriate. Not all foreigners are rubes, please do better.

Impossible to contact or make reservation

We have tried for nearly 2 months now to book a table with your restaurant for my 2 adult daughters who are visiting Paris in Summer. I have tried emailing to make a reservation and tried calling several times sometimes more than once a day. The staff are so unhelpful and clearly nobody answers the landline telephone. Their email just instructs you to call them but yet nobody answers the phone. Very very disappointing as we visited your restaurant in Val D’Isere and loved it. 👎👎

The food was good, but the hostess was so rude it made for such a horrible experience. It was 95 degrees and it took a long time to give us water. Just an fyi if you want a view of the park and Eiffel Tower they only allow influencers there (another hostesses words not mine). Pretty disappointing since we book our table reservation weeks in advanced.

Awesome Truffle Pizza!

We visited Lou Lou restaurant at around 7pm with no reservation and were unable to get a seat in the main restaurant. We were told they were fully booked. We were able to get a table at a separate section which serves snacks and drinks. The staff did not offer this option freely, and we had to ask for it. We eventually ordered the truffle pizza which was delicious! The location and ambience were exceptional.

The view in this restaurant is spectacular, for that only it deserves a lot; but the service is amazing. They are quick and try to speak to you in a language you can understand. The food left me breathless, it’s one of the best restaurants I’ve ever tasted. Valentin our waiter was so fun and nice.

Actually in the Louvre palace. We dined outdoors in June, with views of the Eiffel Tour, the Louvre, and gardens. Expensive top notch Italian. "Artichauts Violets" shaved raw artichokes, was delicate and my favorite dish of the two week trip. My tagliatelle poisson (fish) was perfect. The "tiramisu a partager" desert was probably the best I have ever had, cooked and served in an individual glass bowl, was too much for 3 people, could serve 6. Drinks and service and ambiance were wonderful. They have an excellent wine list. It is hard to get a table, so reserve weeks in advance or wait on a line for drop in.

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Best Answer Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
