The food here was pretty good, as I really enjoyed the crab cake, but the service was a bit rude as our waiter kept rushing us to order drinks and food, even though we were still waiting for one more friend. The seats were also pretty uncomfortable and overall it feels too squished.

It was horrible, we had the worst time of our lives, even though we wanted to relax, if one day you want to get past your worst times, go for it!!! Very disappointing on their part, very slow and poor quality service, very bad experience.

Pergola used to be one of our favorite bars in the city.
Unfortunately, our service last night wasn't up to par with basic standards and management is clearly liable for the staffs lack of self-regulation and productivity. While the food was impeccable, the service ruined the experience. Starting with our server Maxi, who was inattentive and needed basic service reminders such as water for the table. She mentioned she needed the table back, alleging another reservation was coming while there were other open 4-tops, offering to move us to a 2-top. Consequently, management approaches us saying we don't need to close our check but less than 5 minutes later he comes back with a different messaging stating that we need to close the check before moving to the following table. After clear discomfort, we choose to move to the bar where bartender Anastasia tells us we are not allowed to take the empty seats as other guest is there, which was okay as we understand local bar rules, but her delivery was tasteless. Rolling her eyes, and using inadequate body language for a venue of this measure. Granted, at least our server was gracious to conceal her lack of attentiveness. But Anastasia clearly has dive bar skills and needs retraining. We communicated to management regarding both situations and as we work hospitality we can tell he was avoiding addressing his staff poor performance. Our entire party has worked hospitality and was willing to spend well and tip well. Sadly, impressive food and good hookah is not sufficient to run a venue.

I made a reservation for 5 people and I showed up with 2/5 on time. the rest of my party was 10 min away. They gave up my table while I was waiting in the restaurant. Horrible customer service and not a way to treat customers who make reservations weeks in advance. If someone from the party is at the restaurant the table should not be given up - point blank period.

I am compelled to share my recent experience at Pergola NYC, and unfortunately, it was far from the celebratory evening my law firm and I had hoped for. Al, the "manager" on duty, exhibited shocking rudeness, arrogance, and a complete lack of accommodation--behaviors we experienced even after settling a substantial bill. Our encounter left us deeply disappointed. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident; there are multiple lawsuits against Pergola for alleged racist practices. I implore you to research these lawsuits before choosing to dine at Pergola, especially if you're a person of color. While I am not optimistic about immediate or meaningful action from Pergola NYC or its owners about Al and the other employees, it is crucial to highlight the significance of these concerns, particularly for their black guests who, in our case, happen to be lawyers.
I've come here 3x now.
All were amazing times. Music on point. Strong hookah. Delicious wings and fries. Properly made old fashioned cocktails. Fast service

Came here with my gfs for girls night dinner and drinks on a Friday night. We had reservations for 8:30pm. They do have a bouncer outside checking IDs, must be if it's after 8pm. Music bumping, hookah, tables all around. They have an upstairs which I didn't get to see since our table was downstairs. Seating is tight especially if you get the middle tables, but you make it work. It seemed to be like 2 hostess and they both were confused when we walked in as none of them asked to help us, until one of my gfs said something. Our server was nice. Food came out in a timely manner. Wings were delicious. Food was great. Lemon Chicken, Salmon and Mediterranean Pasta all Soo good. No complaints for that. Hookah is a bit pricey, you can order it anytime. They change coal frequently. We stayed at our table as long as we could. Around 11:30, server advised us the table was going to another reservation. Our bill was around $350 for 3 ladies with the hookah included. We each ordered about 3-4 drinks each as well. I will def be back for a date night with my husband!

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
