Though I do enjoy a good fusion it was too gimmicky for me. I would consider trying again if the prices weren't so extortionate. My friends and I had to eat again afterwards as we were still hungry after the meal.

Silver Apricot is a tiny Chinese-American fusion spot on Cornelia. Came for dinner and had a solid meal. My friend and I shared:+ Scallion puffs + Mushu roasted cabbage+ Sausage and garlic crispy bits fried rice+ Cauliflower and truffle dumplings + Peking grilled cheese+ General tso's broccolini+ Chili garlic prawn potato gratin + Citrus dessert+ Pumpkin cake + Also grabbed a Lunar new year cookie tin to goThe scallion puffs were my favorite, followed by the fried rice and grilled cheese. Service was great and the vibe was nice and intimate.

An American twist on classic Chinese dishes! As someone who grew up eating more traditional Chinese food, I was excited and nervous to try Silver Apricot. All of the dishes on the menu are ones you'd see at a Chinese restaurant but Silver Apricot has their own take on each one. The presentation of all the dishes were delightfully done. For 2 people, they recommended 6-8 dishes so we ordered 6 and were pretty full at the end. I wasn't a fan of the mapo squash rice cakes (too tangy for me) but I would recommend the scallion puffs and the Mongolian strip! Definitely a little on the pricier side for Chinese food but nice every once in a while. The restaurant itself is quite small - each table is cozily set up next to one another. It's quite subtle and hidden but the interior is more elegant and modern. Not bad for a date night! The service was just okay. I think they try to serve the dishes based on your table's pace but for us, the dishes were brought out in 2 groups of 3. I think I would come back to try the Peking duck grilled cheese and some of the other fun dishes on the menu!

A delicious Chinese-style tapas place where the dishes are unique and deliciously rich!We shared 5 dishes: scallion puffs, deviled tea eggs, cold "mouthwatering" chicken, peking grilled cheese, and sausage and garlic crispy bits fried rice. The peking grilled cheese was a definite favorite- the "bread" was a flakey pancake and the inside was oH so rich. There were also tiny serrano peppers on top that were a great complement to the duck! Overall, delicious dishes were smaller than desired (but maybe that's just cause they were so good HA)!

This place is so popular in the neighbourhood that you have to line up before it opens. Totally worth it. Have had the almond croissants a couple of times and they are very good; this morning I had a big raisin bran muffin that was still warm. Just delicious. A couple of gluten-free options as well, and they have coffee too.

This spot was incredible for dinner! It was intimate and the service was great. The food we had was creative and so tasty !!! We got the scallion puffs (this is a must order), the mushroom cucumber salad, the truffle cauliflower dumplings, general tso's broccolini, and mapo squash rice cakes (last two a must order as well!!!). Everything was so great here can't wait to come back!!

3.5/5 but rounded up to a 4 my friend suggested i check out silver apricot when i told him i've been trying to get a rez at bonnie's for ages. he said this was a similar concept but he preferred it to bonnie's which was reason enough for me to try this spot out. i made a rez here a few weeks ago but had a change in plans and couldn't make it so was thrilled when they were able to accommodate us when we popped in at 9pm on a wednesday. everything had great flavor but i don't think were ready for how heavy it'd be. since it's tapas style plates, they said for 2 ppl they recommend 6 dishes. we got 4 bc we weren't too hungry and it was late. they were out of the deviled eggs which sounded amazing but looking over the reviews now, glad we didn't cause it looks like it'd be heavy. we got the scallion puffs, fluke crudo, peking grilled cheese and grilled romaine w shramps.scallion puffs: 7/10the concept is original but we found it to be really salty and rich. the scallion butter on the side was delicious!fluke crudo: 9/10best dish we ordered. super fresh great balance of flavors!peking grilled cheese: 7/10great flavor but super heavy and saucy! the pancake holding the duck was soggy with grease.grilled romaine w shramps: 7/10shramps were a solid 9, a little overcooked but good flavor. the romaine and topping were delicious but the entire thing was drowning in its miso dressing.service was super friendly and amazing and the reason i rounded up the 3.5 to a 4! the restaurant itself is cozy and small and has a very 70's feel!after eating here, i wouldn't say it's comparable to bonnie's as this is a chinese resty and bonnie's is canto. i haven't have bonnie's yet but from the looks of it, i'd compare it to potluck club in LES which is an amazing fusion-y canto spot!

Nice quick walk from the subway station. Surrounding area is lively and lots to see. Service was amazing from greetings to the waiter. They were friendly and attentive. Great place to hang out with friends and family. Also perfect for a date. No loud obnoxious noise/music where you can't hear each other. Outdoor dining is gorgeous. Lovely garden area with heat lamps all around. Now the food... it was ok. I guess some may label it as innovative? I dunno. Nothing amazing or terrible. Identity crisis maybe. Expect to pay $$$ but this is in-line with the neighborhood. Truly wished I appreciated the food more. But lovely experience overall.

The ambiance was great. We went on a random weekday night and there were only a couple other tables there, so it was a quieter night. Our waiter gave us great recommendations and pointed out all of the vegetarian dishes. There are PLENTY of vegetarian options! The wine list was well curated. I tried one of the orange wines, which I really enjoyed. The star of the show were the scallion puff bread rolls! Omg maybe one of the best bread rolls I've tried. The cucumber and mushroom dish and the peanuts were also delicious. I think we ordered every veggie dish except the cabbage and I was pretty full! Can't wait to come back!

Also had some solid vegetarian-friendly options!Only reason for 4 stars vs. 5 is that, during an early meal when we were the only patrons in the outdoor area, the music was quite loud and they refused to adjust it when we asked politely.

Favorite dishes were the scallion puffs and the Mongolian beef. The potato gratin dish with caviar was cool too, but honestly sort of strange. I liked this place a lot and found their dishes pretty inventive, albeit a bit small. Drinks were good; our waiter was really kind and affable and made the dinner much more enjoyable. Not the type of place I usually go to, but a nice experience.

At the beginning of December I ordered and paid $58 for Buche de Noel to be picked up at 10 AM December 23. I was shown a pretty cake. It was the center of our party table. However, when touched with a knife, it fell apart: icing fell off in sheets, the cake crumbled. It was inedible. Who decided to give me a stale, previously frozen prototype instead of baking my cake to order? Shame on you.

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
